Hey! Thanks! And yes I coat one side and then usually am able to come back to do the other side partially to give it a flat coverage. Sometimes I have to whip my hawk trowel to flatten a butt better. And yes the majority of my work is textured.
Hello there Danny. I'm a self employed house painter, and would like to know if those stilts are any good for painting. Some jobs i do the ceilings are over 12ft tall. Just looking at alternatives to cut back time using an extension ladder and having to move it 3 to 4 times per wall just to cut in between the ceiling and the cornice. Cheers.
Hey! And absolutely! I’ve seen painters use them often. It’s all in personal preference but I would use them for big tall walls and ceilings. I know you guys have the long wands and what not but I like to be up close so I can see what I’m doing a little better. Thanks for tuning in!
the flat box and especially regular corner box are joints killers. respect.
Nice 3 ways those are some beauties
Danny great work and tempo! Curious your technique on the butts why you box only one side? Is the house getting texture?
