The wax isn't bad, it is very tasty with the honey but it is usually quite expensive

I have had deep fried and powdered bees, they are super yummy, they taste like sweetened sunflower seeds

What I like about her cooking is that she uses nature to provide her sustenance. She cooks the weirdest critters but uses fresh plants to cook. I would eat the plants and leave the weird bugs, meat to her 😁

Do you ever try making these honeycombs with other ingredients than just what you used in this video? Looked delicious, yummm. When I was young and would go visit my grandparents in Mexico, my grandma would serve it as a desert. The honeycomb would be put in the middle of a large freshly made corn tortilla and sprinkled with the honey. It was so sweet and delicious. I wish my grandma was still living so she could make us some. Thank you Sros for sharing. ❤️
I love how this lady cooks her food outside and uses the ingredients in her garden every time I watch her videos I get curious and interested with my husband me and my husband watch her videos lying on the bed and its so amazing how she makes her recipe the blood cockle on her other video looked just like a normal cockle but bigger me and my husband were hungry watching her eat and i just subscribed to her channel however I'm not sure in saying all that I don't think I'm brave or game enough to try the food especially the unusual ones the honey comb one I don't like honey me and my sister didn't like honey as a child it was too sweet i feel like her honey comb would be sickly sweet

Sros is such a talented cook. She eats all these natural healthful foods. That's probably why her skin is so beautiful. I was a bit grossed out, but I am sure that honeycomb is full of healthy royal jelly, protein rich larva. Its probably delicious. I would try it at least once. I agree with the other commenter, Americans judging her, yet we eat cancer-causing, processed foods everyday. She very adorable.

Cacao leaves are also great for grilling. It lessens the charring of anything you wrap in it.

yum i would love to try this, i wonder if the banana leaves also left some flavor as the sweetness of the honey comb and nutty flavor of bees (reason why she rubbed the comb with salt) were cooked within, then she used carrots and cucumber for a pallet cleanse finishing off with a lime sauce made with pepper, salt and sugar. sounds and looked bomb, luv ur vids from cali 💗 p.s. ignore all the hate from westerners lmao we are literally one of the only type of conditioned people in the world who

When I was young, my mom would come home from her vacay in her hometown in Bicol. She always brings bottles of honey with honey combs in it. She told me, I could eat them, so I always eat them, raw. I have never thought of bees back then because I never saw them in there, prolly they are dead. So I just eat them all. Yummy. When I get a hold of some honeycomb again, I will try to grill them this way. Thanks Sros! Nice salad 😊

This comb of honey wasn’t ready. They were filled with Larva, not honey. First the bees use the combs so the queen can lay her eggs. Larva hatches and grow in each cell, then they emerge once mature. Those cells are then filled with syrup that later turns to honey. ... No wonder Bees are endangered. :-/
