Baylan wants power. He recalled the weakness of the Jedi. He repeatedly makes it clear he wants power, but he loves the "idea," he said, of the Jedi. He uses the dark side, yet it conflicts with his old history. It's that tension that makes him so interesting, among other things. When he learns what Thrawn might do with him, and Ahsoka faces him, she might be the fulcrum for him to make a big decision one way or the other. Fulcrum pun intended.

What I don't understand is: Thrawn has had what, about 6 years.... with the help of about 500 troopers AND 3 great mothers of old Dathomiria, and still the greatest military and strategic brain in the empire couldn't catch Ezra..... Sorry, but that just seems a bit far fetched..... Especially since Sabine just rides out and finds him in like a day!!!! And the howler can SMELL HIM, and you are telling me Thrawn never thought of that??? Honestly, a bit disappointed that Sabine found him THAT EASY!!!
Aside from those "small things", I gotta say Louise - your reactions NEVER fail to bring a smile to my face. You are so excited about this series, that you can barely speak afterwards.... And your many facial expressions during, are just fabulous....
As a DANE, it's REALLY REALLY WEIRD to see Lars Mikkelsen WITHOUT his trademark beard, and then seeing Ezra WITH a beard.... totally weird, but I kind of like it :D
P.S. - The Howlers af freaking cute!!!!
looking forward to seeing your reaction next week, and..... May The Force be with you

8:54 I don't think those are bandages or that they did that for any other reason except they've been without a supply chain for 10-11 years, that's basically duct tape holding their armor together, everything is dilapidated because they've had nothing to repair things with.

I watch these episodes, and I am genuinely loving it. But as soon as it ends, I'm on an instant downer train because I don't like how much you need to watch Clone Wars and Rebels to fully appreciate it. I've watched all of them, so I appreciate it. But it just doesn't stand on its own, and I am personally not a fan of that fact.

Ughh... good episode but it left me a little unsatisfied at the end. It was a slow burning set up for what is to come.
As for the Night Troopers, I think it is out of character for Thrawn to not care about his troopers' cleanliness and appearance. I think he wouldn't even allow red ribbons. Feloni wants us to see they've been in battle(s), and the name and red ribbons hint at the Sisters' handiwork. Edit: Thrawn needing dark magic... three days to prepare... caskets... three days for resurrection. Another bible reference.
So... who or what have they been fighting? Baylan senses a "greater power" there.

Third Best episode in Ahsoka show but this one is now on first place 2th. last episode and 3th Fallen Jedi.
Gideon is good Villain like Tarkin. 😊
And Thrawn is even better becouse he is not trully a villain. Thrawn and his friendship with Anakin during Clone Wars comic/book is best this in Star Wars.
    ////
    ---------
Hell Yeaaaaah Star Wars my kindness my grim love my everything. One of the best episodes of this show. As I already wrote somewhere, I can die in peace after this show.

Hell Yeaaaaah Star Wars moja láskavosť, moja bezútešná láska moje všetko. Jedna z ďalších najlepších epizód tejto show. Ako som už niekde písal, po tejto show môžem zomrieť a odpočívať v pokoji.

And that, folks, is why Lars was always going to be such damn good casting for Thrawn. Everything feels spot on, hell even the age lines up properly. Really appreciate some of the subtlety in storytelling too, take the Chimera for example. Sure it's battered and bits are clearly not working or, well, missing but she's still operational after a decade+ away from any supply chain or shipyard. His forces may be "diminished" but the fact they're still around at all is a hell of a testament tohow good a leader and tactician Thrawn is for those that are meeting him for the first time. Though damn I hope we get to see his reaction to finding out who Ahsoka's master was.....
Also can I just say I *love* that Thrawns' reaction to Ahsoka is basically the same as Thanos to Carol Danvers and can basically be summed up as "fire everything, right now!"

And it's gonna take them 3 days to empty the catacombs and they seem to be loading all the coffins onto the Chimera
And the Night Sisters can reanimated all those dead bodies as well... Thrawn might actually have one scary ass undead army on his hands. 😲😲

I was so happy to see Fallen Order revived the Nightsisters into canon. Now, we have a new faction of Nightsisters post-fall of the Empire. Opens up the possibilities.
The Night Troopers could be a lot of things. Thrawn’s Chimera was filled with troops when he was blasted away. Those things are bigger than most major cities. They make me think of Spartans.
