And now your comment is Pinned lol!
@@theriversexperience9383 Hah! You have made one of the classic blunders!
That profile turned out sweet. I agree with you, it’s better than the first. 👊
Thanks Man!
Right! Sometimes the knife takes you in the direction it wants to go.❤
It always you… 😆😆😆

Very true!
YESSSSS!!!!!!! Thank you for posting this build warts and all!!! That probably sounds mean like I’m happy it broke… lol I’m not it just makes me feel better I thought I was the only one who broke blades lol!!!! Love the sheep’s foot idea!!! Keep rocking it brother!!!! Awesome video!!!!! 🫡
I get it lol. I feel like some people hide their mistakes.
@@theriversexperience9383 for sure!!! I’m excited for the shop talk Tuesday episode the different lines on that knife and the insane taper is wicked!!! I think that that adds so much to the look of the knife!!! Just like the top of the spine on your sheep’s foot knife in this video!!! Wicked good work sensei!!!!
🥋 🙏
lol nice stone wash dance montage!!! 😂
Thanks 😅
I dunno about that knife maker saying, I make plenty of mistakes but the difference is how well you recover from them :)
This also applies to angle grinders and buffing wheels
The recover part, is key for sure.
This situation reminds me of Donald Trump. He never admits defeat, and pushes through until he wins. You should run for office. I’m thinking school board is a good diving board. Just don’t let adolescents w wieners into the girls bathroom and you will have won again. Sheesh, the future is looking bright for you.
I had something really similar happen to one of my knives a bit back. It was going to be a really nice chefs knife, now its a less nice cleaver. Oh well. Im making the tip into a micro folder so thats fun.
If your taking suggestions you should make the broken off tip from today's mishap into something on Saturday. Also if you start the livestreams at 6:30 i may miss the beginning occasionally be dinner runs late sometimes.
Great finished result!
Thank you, Duck. I'll see you at some point Saturday.
Nice knife would fit my hands perfectly ❤
Came out very cool anyway! Definitely a nice blade.
Thank you!
At first I thought, Oh know! But It turned out super cool.
Thank you Jeff!
Faux Par considered..i love it..turned out " COOL"..Texture, Balance everything about it..👍🏻
Dr's bury their mistakes, Mechanics have to rectify their's..❗
Shalowm..❗🙇♂️🇿🇦
Thank you Bernard!
Im in love with it.... where do i send my money
I actually prefer the 'accidental' profile tbh.
I think you should turn the original tip into a keychain... Maybe a ferro-rod striker.
Thank you! That's a great idea.
Beautiful finish and really cool profile Erick! As usual great work man!
Thank you!
I like it. I’ve come to find that a lot of times the drawing is more of a guide line than a plan. Plus, how many knives do you have that you’re 100% sure what the grain structure looks like!
True lol, gotta see it here and there.
Man, sorry to see the knife snap. Usually when the the knife is pulled out directly from the oil quench you have a little time to tap out any slight warps.
I've done it before and after the temper. I just prefer that over the Jig, I don't know why I went the Jig route on this one.
Happy accident = badass blade. Inspiring, and I love it. 🤘🤘
Thank you Jim!
Another outstanding video Eric SoCal 😂😅
Thank you!
When you do it as a business you have to recover the hours - and you succeeded in doing that. Love the handle -
Thats correct! Thank you!
That’s rough, learn what you can from it and move on to the next one.
What I learned, is that I shouldn't have used the Jig. I've been using the Straightening hammer for so long with no issues. I shouldn't have trusted the Jig.
Good save. You need music to go with the stone shaking
HAHA, I really should have done that.
the final shape is cool but the original is my favorite of the two
Good news is that I always get to make another one 😁
That’s sweet bro. I wanna try something like that.
Thank you! You should!
Both knife profiles are awesome
Thank you!
Wazzzzup!
What's up!
What's up erick
How's it going Craig?
