    Instead of going into the R key every time, ctrl + click and drag the part and place where you want it. You can do it either from the the tree or the part that you can see.

    I need to see if I can get this to work for grooved pipe trim assemblies. Would save me a ton of time. ⏳️

    i do like how when dropping in a part with configurations, it changes automatically to the configuration that suits the mate your about to drop

    • @TooTallToby
      @TooTallToby  5 месяцев назад +1

      Is that happening automatically? If it is, that's awesome! I know this happens automatically with Toolbox components. However, if you want it to happen with your own components (and its not happening automatically) you'll probably have to look into the "configuration publisher" tool. (which is part of SolidWorks, not an add on or anything)

      @STAiNLESS_CORE 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@TooTallToby yer its doing it automatically, possibly because i added as a routing part?

    • @TooTallToby
      @TooTallToby  5 месяцев назад +1

      yeah routing has some of that functionality built in - nice job! @@STAiNLESS_CORE

      Hi Mark - This was one of the big "what's new" things in 2024. I never upgraded past 2020 (cause it's all entangeld with 3Dexpeirence in the newer builds and...well...no thanks...) - but if you have 2024, you sure can!

    is there a keyboard shortcut to flip the part you are dragging into the assembly? quite often i need to do this before letting it assign multiple mates.

    Hi, it is possible to switch between 2 or 3 differents mate references ?(default 1, default 2,...) or in one default switch between primary , secondary, tertiary when assemble models? thanks
