Hey DELL, you can see here just how everyone is so enjoying your High spec Inspiron laptop. I have one too, it is so enjoyable to use that I spend all my time trying to find out how to make it work. Thank you so much DELL !! You can be absolutely sure that I will really, really, REALLY appreciate it the NEXT time I wish to buy any computer equipment !!

I saw a solution posted on Dell's forums similar to this, only you've added some layers. You've inspired me to try this! Hoping you had success with it. Thank you for posting this video, your advice was very informative.
I had this problem months ago, Dell actually REPLACED my laptop. The replacement also started having the same trackpad problem. A Dell technician came out and replaced the trackpad with a "newly designed" trackpad. After a week, the problem started right back up again.

I am not an electrical eng. Hence I can't fathom speculating what the issue really is. I don't think its swelling of battery. There are other models , virtually same design but they don't have an issue (namely Inspiron 5515). This is an on-going issue. After adding layers, it becomes useable (IMO) - its rare to have a mouse issue - never really 100% goes away. Also, whenever you will goto sell , I don't think anyone will be comfortable buying knowing all this.

I have a very similar issue with an Dell Precision 5470. I got it relatively cheap on BestBuy so I'm still on the fence on whether to return it or not. I can definitely live with the weird double-clicks...Just use a mouse.

After doing this Fix, it was well but 2 weeks later, I connected my smartphone by usb to my dell 1610 and after connection, I could see same trackpad issue, and It happened before as well everytime i connected my smartphone.
Who can explain how to avoid this issue when I connect my smartphone to my laptop?

I dont know why I can't remove SSD 1 Bracket that holds the 2230 SSD. Feels it is screwrd into the motherboard is that true? Do you have any video guide?

The issue is not the trackpad, it is the battery. The heat melts the glue on the battery wrapping. This becomes loose and bubbles.
The bubbles then transmit static electricity to the mousepad.

Here is what I did that seemed to fix the problem.
    Open Device Manager.
Under Human Interface Devices open I2C HID Device.
    Select the Power Management Tab.
De-select "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"
After completing those steps, I have not had the smallest problem with my touchpad for the last week.

Is this solution working for you @Xe Mohsen since you have posted videos in february, what is the feedback until now

Issue never really 100% goes away. It does become use-able though. I returned and bought a lower end Inspiron 5515. If you ever going to travel, its SOO much better. Screen is not IPS but its much lighter, but has touchscreen and its really reliable! (Battery life seems a little better too, even though smaller battery). I got the Ryzen version.

I think you just happened to add pressure to the ground spring of the touchpad thus resulting in a better ground to clear static.

That is correct. Someone put a wire to neutral and that seems to fix it permanently.

Any reason why I didn't get the issue for the first month. I am getting this trackpad issue once a week so I can manage for now. I have disabled display power saving mode. I will update if it comes back. Also I have made 3060 graphic card as primary.

There are lot of misinformation out there. For example, Disabling Intel / AMD Graphic card power savings. CPU Power Savings. Changing BIOS settings. Upgrading firmware, etc. None of them really work (or work temporary) and then it deteriorate for all reported cases.
This computer CANNOT be used without a battery plugged in. I think if battery is not so close to the trackpad (or adding more non-conductive barriers), it will work perpetually. That seems to be the only permanent solution. Keep us posted.

I would guess it takes a month or two for the battery to start swelling. Same thing for me. Took a month with my first one, took a month and a half with the replacement that they sent.

Hello guys, After doing this operation , I noticed 3 new issues , you also?
    1) Bump on the surface of the trackpad exactly at the location of the soldering operation, it is ugly
    2) strange light electric buzz sounds coming directly from trackpad when you don't touch it, you put your ear close to it, and you ear it as if you hear electricity moving inside trackpad , strange! Before, was not the case! When you put the finger on track pad (contact), this noise disappear, otherwise its permanent noise
    3) Device Security Issue
After doing this soldering operation, I noticed issues in Windows Security - Device Security
Before I could see the 3 features , core isolation, memory integrity and secured boot, and all was on and well.
Now, those features are fone completely, cannot see it, just white page, on top written :
    "Standard hardware security not supported"
