As per my comment on the three yr review Steven, ive just bought one in July 2024, with 20k on clock, a 2012 car as well! Its in Lotus Blue with v light grey cloth interior. Its a CDI non Sport Model ( its an SE model as we prioritise comfort and were frightened of going sport! Reason for that we had a 2014 VW Golf SV - a very underrated car too, but it was a GT model with very firm suspension, much better equipped than the Merc, but ride quality not suiting us. Tried to get another but not at price point or mileage) although it has the rear roof spoiler. Mudflaps essential!!!! Ours has the round front drivers light in the splitter. Steven, definitely would rate the Merc and would love to get a version that has DAB, heated leather ( like the VW had) etc but what weve got is great for now. My favourite would ne the 200 CDI with the 2.1 Merc Engine and comfort suspension.
many add the hood ornament on the dipping nose B class, as a Parking aid,,, even with sensors, gr8 vid thanks,,,, just got a B class for my sister, she loves it.
Hi steven four wheels. Nice video. I have some curious questions for B200. 1. Are the seats comfortable to drive for long journeys on the highway? 2. Is the Aircond cold on medium setting? 3. Does the car make you sleepy to drive if your driving slow? 4. How good quality are the back trays behind the seats? Are they flimsy or well-made? 5. Does the ceiling make any noise when it rains heavily? 6. How easy is it to park with this car in tight spaces? 7. How agile is driving experience through corners on the road? Does it make U-turn easily? 8. How good is the quality of the seat leather? 9. How good is the sound system? 10. Does the car have brake hill assist? Thank you.
Thanks for watching, I hope the below helps: 1. Are the seats comfortable to drive for long journeys on the highway? I’ve never had an issue but then I do get uncomfortable after a couple of hours in any seat. 2. Is the Aircond cold on medium setting? Yes it is. 3. Does the car make you sleepy to drive if your driving slow? I can’t say I’ve ever had this issue. 4. How good quality are the back trays behind the seats? Are they flimsy or well-made? I don’t have these so I can’t comment on them. 5. Does the ceiling make any noise when it rains heavily? Yes it does make noise but no more than is to be expected. 6. How easy is it to park with this car in tight spaces? I find it very easy to park with reversing camera, other versions will have parking sensors as well. 7. How agile is driving experience through corners on the road? Does it make U-turn easily? It certainly handles better than I expected, it’s not sports cars but handles well for what it is. I believe this sport model has lowered suspension which helps with the handling. I can’t say that U turn is better or worse than any other car I’ve driven. 8. How good is the quality of the seat leather? My car does have artificial leather so it’s not the best but better than fabric. 9. How good is the sound system? It’s a good quality sound system. Certainly not the best in the world nor does it sound poor. 10. Does the car have brake hill assist? My car doesn’t but other versions may have.
@@stevensfourwheels thanks for the reply. I did check the user manual for w246 i think your car has the HOLD function as well. you can find it on page 168 in user manual. May i know how is the blindspots during driving, especially back left & back right ? Thanks.
@@AFRCPE thanks for the info. I can’t say that the rear blind spots are any better or worse than other cars really. Overall I find the visibility really good around the car. Hope this helps. 👍
We have a SLK280 AMG with very solid suspension, thinking of B Class to go with it and would prefer the Sports for looks, but we're concerned that the suspension might just as solid...we've just sold an E350 estate which floated over everything and realise a B won't be the same, but wonder if the SE would be a safer bet. Or a Sports without run-flats? Any suggestions?
Well I think the B Class probably sit somewhere in the middle of your E Class and SLK. It won’t be as soft as the Class or handle as well as the SLK. The Sport model does have lowered sport suspension which the SE doesn’t. But I agree that the Sport model looks better and has better spec. Hope this helps!
thanks for the review! what about the cost to maintain this car ? plan to make this as my first car and daily driving in the city. seldomly will go out of town.
Thanks for watching! Generally the costs are quite low. It’s very economical on fuel as I do a mixture of town driving and fast a road driving and get a 52mpg return. In terms of maintenance the engine and gearbox are strong and will last with regular servicing. The main issue is electronics as sensors are the main failing point. I recently had the EML come on and it turned out that the boost pressure sensor had failed. £150 was the repair cost. Overall it’s a very practical and reliable car that makes daily driving very relaxing too.
@@AdlilHi my friend, I'm exactly in the same boat as you were a couple of months back. I'm planning to buy a 2015 B250 sports tourer, 111k kms. It will be my first car in Toronto but worried about maintenance cost. Can you share how much yearly do I need for it?

@@Ash-pv7mk that sounds lovely. I hope you enjoy it 👍
I have an amg line b class. Fab car! Lots of fun to drive. Funnily enough, also have a mini schnauzer!
Thanks Emma, I hope you’re mini schnauzer enjoys a ride out as much as ours! 🐾👍

Thanks for watching. I’ve found that I sit too low to see the bonnet badge. Glad to hear that your sister enjoys her B Class 😂
People like the pop up star because its more prominent and you can actually see it when driving.
I agree, sadly on my B Class, the bonnet slops down too much for you to see the badge👍
Oh damn. Yeah I get it. Then it is just 2 big stars for nothing.

love this episode!! What made you pick this spec of B class? 😀😀😀
I think it was the right spec for me with the Xenon headlights, full leather and sat nav 👍
I love the star.
I do like the star too but just not both at the same time ⭐️
