that is a GREAT question and unfortunately it doesn't work that way... I just tried it and it's a bit too stiff as the free movement is only for positioning. :(

Is this one silent? I have one of the other konova models and the motor definitely makes a whining sound as it moves from side to side.

It does if its going fast but if its slower its silent.
