You go Travis. Really Nice 👍. Don’t feel bad about having multiple copies as I have about 14 Blue Hawaii’s, 16 Elvis’ Golden Records, 10 G.I. Blues…etc. it’s what we do.
Travis I am so impressed with your organization! I always kept mine in date order, but you are on another level of organization. Also impressed with how much your knowledge has grown!!! Enjoyed the video.
I love how you store the records in the plastic but outside the cover. You can see the records without having to slide in and out risking tearing the cover or sleeve. Question: Are the black 76 labels a result of Elvis selling his catalog?
Wow I’m not even sure, maybe 300? Funny enough I found one of those Good Times for a steal a few months ago but ended up selling it a few days later unfortunately. Really needed the cash at that moment but another one will come up!⚡️
@@thekingscornerwithtravis I have about 260. I've got both the Good Times, one with the small sticker and the large My Boy sticker (with the small sticker underneath the My Boy sticker, that way you know it's real and not a repro).
How many of Elvis' fans know that Elvis, on the instigation of his infamous manager (Col. Tom Parker) and father, sold all his record catalogue prior to 1973 for a measly $10.5 million. The majority of that money ( $6 million went to the Col.) Elvis got $4.5 million. After taxes Elvis walked away with $2million. SOURCE: THE COLONEL by ALANA NASH p. 280. So any record that his fans bought ( me included) after 1973 , not one cent went to the Elvis estate. And on top of that he doesn't even own all of the publishing on all of those songs. Screwed by the Col once again. By buying anything RCA released prior to 1973 (even today) , you're only enriching the coffers of RCA Records and not Elvis' estate.
Nice collection and video!
Nice collection can't wait to see the rest of your collection 🤗💓👍
Very nice! I am impressed with your knowledge. Collecting Elvis is fun! It never ends as I have been doing it 48 yrs.

Thanks so much Jo Ann! It feels like never ending organization lol⚡️ Hope you’re doing well!
Nice collection Travis. It makes me wish I knew what Elvis really had in his personal record collection, especially his own Elvis albums.
Oh and a Travis, if you need an A/B variant for Elvis Country, Elvis Now or Back In Memphis, lmk, as I have extras.

I’m not sure that’s a good question. I’ll have to look into that!⚡️
Great collection ! Love your content ⚡️
Thanks so much!⚡️
How many records are you up to now Travis? Do you have the Good Times with either of the 2 hype stickers?

So don’t listen to 90% of his music catalog? Got it.
