    Very good thanks, but it is really a sorting facility, separating the wastes into various recyclable grades.
    I am very keen on recycling, if people could see how much effort is entailed in just sorting their waste, then maybe we could be better at initial segregation.
    I did notice early on, how difficult textile waste can be, it just wraps around everything, and requires frequent stoppages to manually clean it off the equipment.

      Lol,,, 70% of recycling plastic is shipped out to other countries,, a lot plastic is given to Turkey,, they pile it in the streets lmao,, or set fire to it,, recycling is a goog idea but unfortunately it's a scam 😂😂😂 and the other 30% we don't send,, well,, do a little investigation and you will see,, best way to recycle is to not buy plastic,, simple

    Amazing! I encourage everyone of us to invest in recycling and support genuine recycling initiative. I have been investing in recycling for two years now. Although the profit are not what I expected but is it worth it, contributing to sustainability is worth it, you should be part of it too. I will be willing to guide you.

    Thank you, really interesting. Do you know what kind of products they do with this recycled plastic? I don't understand why is so difficult to recycle plastic even once it is sorted. I saw some doc where they keep storing all the plastic in cubes like yours. Do you think isn't really profitable?

    • @TermiteVideo
      @TermiteVideo 3 года назад +2

      It isn’t profitable and recycled plastic has to be mixed with new plastic about one part recycled to four parts new. The only sensible thing to do is to cut down plastic use dramatically.

    Is it that difficult to separate items for collection at home ? Why isn't the recycling cost part of the purchase price to encourage manufacturers to seek other options : return of reusable packaging to supermarkets, more loose items in supermarkets etc.

      The majority of the machines are made by Stadler, a German company renown in the industry for quality machinery. The factory machinery cost £5.7 million to replace in 2006. There are also 4 Titech machines which sort the plastics.

One warehouse I know sends two containers over sees consisting of plastic and card waste making a profit of about 25.000 a year.
