Thank you very much for the video!!
Apart from other colors and thinner or slightly different fenders, I know of no other but the high one.
Interesting what you pointed out on the Greek seller; indeed fiberglass would not hold well on an off road bike in the long run; it will break/crack sooner or later. I see it used on race bikes.
For off road bikes we need this sturdy yet flexible type of plastic, commonly made of materials such as polypropylene, polyethylene, and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS).
I still use a high fender on my 701 LR and painted it black; looks better for my taste. I do think the very big fender you use so low on the wheel, would be nicer black, but that's just my opinion.
I don't have these overheating problems, certainly not after the little tricks I employed (we talked before about that).
I read from some riders that the high fender can give some steering wobble when going fast (>120km/h highway speeds).
--> Do you feel any difference between the high/low fender on the highway?
Have a nice end of year!!! ♥

@@PeterR0035 Thanks a lot! Indeed its smoother at highway speeds >= 130km/h, thats some advantage I forgot to mention. But you can be glad to have no overheating issues, maybe I am mixing things up because its late but does the LR have two fans?
Regarding the material it must be some flexible one, I figured that out and will never change back to some fiberglass or something equal because it will wear out over time.
Regarding the looks you may be right, you can already order it in black as far as I know, I even think you can order it in carbon but then you ll have the same issues as already mentioned above.
Btw I just checked the price of the perfect fairing one again and its only 100 Euro at the moment, but in the end I would recommend to pay more if you are also offroading. If you ride mostly street the Greek one may be ok.
      Best Regards!

Only 1 fan on the LR model... there's a lot fewer openings after the radiator (big petrol tank! ) to let the hot air flow away, so maybe KTM engineered a slightly bigger radiator on that model? I have a water temperature gage and fan override switch, so I'm not too worried about the overheating . Take care and safe riding in 2025! ❤

I removed the original airbox and took the small Rade Garage foam filter. But without extra tank or extra storage kit. In my opinion the heat can go Off better since that. The engine is no longer covered and the Air can flow better. But I din't messure it, just my impression.

@@denniskuschel-d8o Interesting approach, do you also have another mapping because of the Rade Garage foam filter?

Merkst du den Unterschied bei der Kühlung deutlich? Grade bei "langsamer" Offroad Fahrt? Bei mir springt der Lüfter auch echt früh an. Selbst an Ampeln etc...

@@denniskuschel-d8o Der Lüfter springt bei langsamen Fahrten immer noch an, jedoch erreiche ich nicht mehr die max Temperatur bei der die Warnleuchte im Cockpit leuchtet
