Thanks so much... I find sometimes drawing random shapes makes me look at things a bit different than I normally would... I don't necessarily follow exactly but it definitely gives you inspiration... 🥰
You really have a wonderful touch and a sure hand! Your swoops and swipes just done with the tool rather than a brush are amazing. I enjoyed watching so much.
I spent 10 years working in an art and craft shop... my brush collection is huge! 40 brushes... nothing wrong with that... 🤣 ...I will do some videos with brushes eventually... I love the look of mandalas made with brushes... but I do love a good 'swoop' with a ball stylus tool as well... mmm... not enough hours of the day to play with all my 'toys'...😏 😘
@@wildwicksgifts awww bless ya! That would be SUPER helpful. I'm going to try those bigger tools for swoops as you do, instead of the nail ones I'm using. See if that improves them for me. I don't seem to be advancing much. Xxxx
@@wildwicksgifts that’s the challenge… even I am trying my best to be steady while dotting let see 😎😎 Can you please suggest which brand paint to use as base coat? Because pencil marks are really stuff to go
The base coat paint I use is from 'Global Colours'... its the 'fine art acrylic impasto'... its an Australian brand... not sure if they post outside Australia... not sure where you live... I do a few coats of this paint... and the pencil I use for the marks are Derwent watercolour pencils... 😊
@@wildwicksgifts thank you so much I live in Bahrain 🇧🇭 getting the needs from India and few from Bahrain 😞😞 I ordered the same pencils hope so it helps me 😢😢
Thanks... I just use a clean damp kitchen sponge... I just keep this for that purpose... because its watercolour pencils, it comes of easy... I quickly and gently wipe dry with a lint free tea towel... if you try using watercolour pencils, just test them first... some brands may come off easier than others... I try not to press too hard. The brand I use are Derwent watercolour pencils... 🥰
Hello mam. I have a question. I am new to mandala art. After I used the fabric acrylic paint the color spread. Now is it ok if I use Mont Mart acrylic paint?
Hi... not really sure what you are referring to when you say 'fabric' acrylic paint... is it your base colour?...if it is, so long as all your paints you are using are water based and NOT oil based, you can pretty much mix any brands together... but, I would always test first on a piece of scrap board and see if it is what you were after before using it on your actual project so you don't ruin it if for some reason it doesn't work... different brands will give you different results and I am not an expert on all brands of paints... sometimes testing and playing is half the fun. Hope this helps... have fun! 🥰
I love the way you traced the hearts for inspiration. It worked out perfectly. Very pretty! Great work!❤❤❤
