I'm from Maharashtra. In my 8th standard I came to ellora that is called 'verul' in Maharashtra with my school. I can proudly say that world's best architecture is in India🇮🇳.

Sarthak Bhai two more important points to be noted
Kailasa temple is ony temple which wascarved from top to bottom and not from base to top which is an architectural wonder and one and only in the world
Second is that after carving a whole mountain, there was lakhs of tons of granite stone which was never found anywhere near Ellora. The location of all this substance is still a mystery for historians, geologists and archaeologists

history of kadki (original name of Aurangabad or Sambhaji Nagar).. it was built by Malik Ambar.. the subedar and defecto ruller of bijapur sultanate .. he built it on barren land near khultabad or deogiri fort. Later it was named fathenagar . this is the same Malik Ambar who taught guerilla warfare to maharatha, made ch shivaji maharaj grandfather the first maratha subedar and laid the seed of swaraj in heart's of shivaji and the maratha
My problem with naming is very .. why name a city which has no history of chatrapati Sambhaji maharaj.. do you intend to disrespect him.. by naming a city he never cared about.. and neglected it ever since.. even now what have the development done in the city..
I would like to develop the city and rename it

The present name of the city is Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. I have been there twice. No local ever calls it Aurangabad, even in the villages around the city.
I find it rather amusing that our channels changed Kiev to Kyiv overnight but don't seem to get Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Dharashiv, Gurugram, and Prayagraj even after many years of changing the names.
Also, Malik Ambar "taught" guerrilla warfare to the Marathas? Seriously???

I'm from Bhokardan, dist Jalna from Maharashtra. My hometown is just 80km away from Ellora (verul) caves. The name of my city is based on Satvahana King Bhovavardhana. Caves of ellora were built in my town but they found stone is soft and cannot be used in sculpture art so they moved to the next place means today's site. Unfortunately, no one knows this fact it is older than Ellora caves we need to preserve this site.
one more fact about verul caves is there are sangam of three different culture buddhism jainism and hinduism. on one wall there is a story of mahabharat and on another side you will find story of ramayan

🙌 Since the Ellora caves are carved from one single basalt rock mountain, there was no option for any error… if you made a mistake in carving, it would stay there, there was no way of repairing or changing it…
You cannot remove that faulty part and replace it… that’s the most challenging part of monolithic architecture …That’s what amazes me the most… it’s done perfectly and only in just the first attempt …..!!

Who built and who destroyed it?
Built by multiple dynasties (the biggest temple shown in this video by the Rashtrakutas). Wear and Tear done by time and visitors. It is not possible to destroy a mountain in one shot unless you blow it up.

I am from Maharashtra , in 2012 me and my family visit the top most loction in entire Maharashtra, in our list elovera and ajintha caves are also included , during this my dad had a Sony camera , for taking pictures and videos , at that time I'm am 12 year 10 years but I know some about making documentry , so i Filming the ellora and ajintha caves , in that video I am introducing the cave to store as life part , to remember ahed in my life , video as kind of vlogs...
I make CD of that videos , but now the matter was CD from 2012 -2013 getting in which I store video get damage at some point ... I tried to recover but not , total 16 video and 30 photos are in 2 CDs ... I really very sad due to this ,other wise I will apploded that on RUclips..❤
thats just not it,aurangabad/chhatrapati sambhajinagar has aurangabad caves,ajanta caves,pithalkhora caves,ellora caves are prime ones as well as many small caves which is now turned as temples
7 yrs ago we planned to visit ajanta and ellora in only one day but we could only cover ajanta and 1/3rd of ellora
US managed to carve 4 faces on a mountain in 1941.
Indians carved out a whole temple from a mountain more than a 1000 years before that.

Their is entrance gate for tickets and just outside of gate a 50 m step and you will got a Elora Name Restaurant . Which is recommended do not visit Ever ever .
We have encountered a dead Lizard 🦎 in their sambhar dosa. And they even don't care to throw remaining sambhar from large vessel .they serve infront of our eyes to others.
