I like to think Bowie would be proud
Above the earth somewhere in his tin can floating around....rip starman
el'jenno well, considering this version came out more than 20 years before Bowie died, I’m sure he was. 👍
Kurt Cobain died 20 years earlier than David Bowie.
Actually he was proud, he said he was flattered and would like to make music with Kurt. R.I.P Kurt Cobain and David Bowie
el'jenno he liked it
Cindy deserved better :(
agree :[
i agree
literally
@@missmaka. thats already the literal meaning.
yup
i like this better than bowie's original tbh. his voice and the different instruments appeal to me more
I agree
That’s what I keep saying to ppl ! It’s not bad to like a cover of someone else’s song, just make sure you know who wrote the lyrics 😂
yeah i think the cover and the original are like two completely different songs to me
My brother was gone too. And this song remained in his room. RIP to him and my beloved brother..
Condolences for your loss. May the music remain to always remind us of our loved ones gone too soon...
Rest in eternal peace to both Luke and your brother 🙏🏻
I always loved that part “if it sounds bad these people are going to have to wait” Kurt will always be a legend
I recently installed a mod for Skyrim. I think it was called Alternate Skyrim Music or something like that, basically replaced the soundtrack with rock n roll, this song tends to play in towns and taverns, awesome track to Bob your head to as you forge some daedric armour or walk around picking up quests, until that mod I had no idea cobain had covered a bowie classic
I heard a comment once; when you hear or see something beautiful it makes you feel good. When it's something incredibly it makes you feel humbled. I'm truly humbled by this song.
Listening on the anniversary of Kurt's death, rip Kurt
today is his birthday
same!
Wonderful song, one of my favorites..
I was born in 87 and loved music since i could remember. i discovered nirvana as a child because i watched mtv all the time. I was 7 when Kurt died. I literally remember when Kurt Loder came on and announced Kurt was found dead. even at seven made me feel sad. of course i couldnt completely comprehend his lyrics until i got older but still i knew it was a sad day for music. i felt the same way i did that day when Tupac died also. I was living in nevada when that happened. Growing up in the 90s was definitely an experience.
I love learning new songs and having the words down helps me to understand them better. Thank you for a good job.
this song better than gucci gang
Edit : what i say its true. Why ppl get mad LoL
True
Obviously
almost every song is better than gucci gang tbh
That’s the lowest bar you could possibly set
layla bofteine banging a pot with wooden spoon is better than gucci gang
"I must have died alone, a long, long time ago" :( R.I.P KURT
i can listen to this the whole day and i wont get bored of it .
I'm glad you like it great song 🎵 but please always respect the true meaning of it. Rock on bro
Despite the great awakening, the world is still asleep.
The fact that this comment doesn't have any likes means people are gonna be asleep for a long time
I think people are starting to realize. I’m hearing a lot more people talking about real issues, and it’s giving me a little bit of hope. People need to wake up fast though, all the censorship that’s starting to build up is gonna be too much to combat.
I like coz long time I'm awake slready..

@@lonelyrabbit7224 it's sad that people are still sheeplike and are soo worried about wearing masks and now are tripling on masks when fauci for one has been caught lying about the disease as in if masks work or not. Not to mention that the constitution is completely non existent anymore with our rights being completely striped away from us and people are just handing them over. The election or selection being rigged. The fact that republicans are letting these people get away it, is the example that this world is bold and sold.
I must have died alone a long, long time ago.

60 years old, sitting on the shitter, really missing Kurt, it so sad. Everyone of his songs touch a different person individually
He will be sadly missed for a hundred years or to the end of time,,
i literally woke up with kurt cobain voice playing in my head on loop, im not tryna spiritual or whatever but i honestly never thought of kurt cause i thought he was grunge or some shit cause i only like 50s to 92s rock/metal, and kurts jus so angelic no homo, i have been listening to nirvana for hours an im sad but amazed i havnt took the time to hear him, hes definilty not grunge this man was definitely rock, aside from mike Hutchins i reckon they was the last true Rockstar's, rip kurt ill have plenty more music an partys to play on nirvana
I can't believe David Bowie and Kurt both died... R.I.P your music is so important and it impacted us greatly.
My friend has an electric ukulele and he can play this and it’s honestly just so cool
Bro smoking to this song makes you feel like a badass
When I did my first cigarette I was listening to that song and I felt like the guy from peakey blinders. I don’t smoke btw
It means you're *"Big Boss."*

hopefulgaymer you sound like you do it yourself. We say this because people think they are the ONLY ones who listen to the song. You would think a comment section world be full of people who have discussions but no...full of these jerk-offs and spammers
Who's reading this comment in 2019?
It’s still 2016 where I’m at
Fuck off!

I am in love with how music links a generation to another generation
He’s so awesome for always giving credit to the original musicians. He said Leadbelly was famous for Where Did You Sleep Last Night and made sure to add on David Bowie is responsible for The Man Who Sold the World. he’s so pure and authentically appreciates individualism and respect. i love him
Best ever thanks for making my childhood great april 5th 1994 my heart died...
Thats the day after my birthday
Curt's guitar on this was spot on. And his inflexion and understanding of the lyrics is amazing. It's a simple song but very complex in delivery I love Bowies version, but I like this one the best. Two great talents, one great song..
i’ve been listening to this on repeat for so long.
i was young when kirt was around and i loved his music plus my sisters listened to him i wish he was still around he was so amazing and so honest in his music.
Nirvana is good. I think they made great music. I like David Bowie too.
Definitely agree.
blind melon also lost their singer
Imagine if some of them were still alive... So much talent, I love Nirvana.
Ríven Maín dave grohl is
So is Krist Novoselic
Nirvana always have the best iconic guitar riff, I’m happy I got to listen to this amazing band.
Some of those singers who did leave us to ponder...left a huge legacy. They were no ordinary every single time we listen to their timeless work ..kind of remind us they were here on earth for very special errands....
Forever a favorite, not sure this song could ever die‼️🎶
man who wouldve thought he was dealing with so much emotion behind this song? may you rest easy Kurt everyone misses you but we must learn to let go. You wont be forgotten.
Anyone else still listening in 2021? Much respect for this band. Kurt was amazing, his spirit will live on forever in my book.
I listening it for a homework
Awe it’s been 29yrs since he passed :(
This song is super close to my heart...Oh also watch Season 2 episode 4 of "OZARK" ..Top Shelf. Russ will bring a tear to your eye! Incredible stuff.

My dad blasted this song in the car .
This dude with headphones looked inside the car we made contact while shaking our heads .
What a wholesome moment .
I love how his misplaying of the solo has just become a staple in his cover of this song
It's honestly great, such a good musician. So sad he isn't around anymore
Man this guy hadnt even peaked with his talent.can you imagine how much we would of seen from him had he lived longer. RIP
My job took me around the world for the last 20 years. A few years here and a few years there. Now I’m 50, back home, jobless and realised I’ve lost all my friends
must have been an adventurous life!
Honestly this song is a masterpiece
Was confused at Kurt's accent until I realized he was doing an impression of Bowie.
Miss you both.
One of my favorite songs by nirvana. TRUE WE NEVER LOST.

Remembering a time I was never in.
I wasn't alive when music was good.
I wish I could've experienced it. My heart is in this kind of music. Not any of todays garbage
RIP Kurt Cobain
Same, d00d, absolutely same.
I can't say better.
I was in my early 20s during that time, and....omg! It was such a wonderful time to experience! Words cannot express how magical...and how ethereal those days were! So glad I have those serene memories to always take with me as I live on....
Todays garbage the best definition
... You were born in the wrong generation huh. God fucking hell yall people are annoying as fuck
Just because Kurt isnt alive doesn't mean you can't listen to his music.
Sei nem explicar o quanto eu amo essa musica
Melancolia?
Westworld anyone? 🤠
Yeah
I love the guitar solo in the end...my favorite part of the song.
This song is brilliant.. R.I.P David Bowie and Kurt Cobain both...
Some people said I'm to young to understand how nostalgic classic rock is but I grew up with it for my whole life so it has nostalgic feeling for me
“I must have died alone..a long long time ago”
You sure did Kurt.
I laughed
Kurt really did die alone a long long time ago. This song is mesmerizing. I woke up with these random lyrics in my head.
This song made me feel weirdly sad. Magic.
that fan that goes "wooo" in the background at the beginning of kurt singing is priceless. the fans are in the music, forreal.
