To note, the second exit from kobylisy goes to a station that ocasionally has a similiar "im gonna probably get mugged" vibe to Černý Most or Holešovice
And every single time you get to the top you hear a guy playing Bella Caio on violin (or even worse case - a melodica). I absolutely hate it but I live there, so I've got no other choice than to accept the devilish sounds of the Japanese street violinist and carry on with the descent to the gradual sweet silence of the platform
@@pavelgrulich2989 Lmao when i first saw that man i waited for 3 minutes for the song to end only for it to just loop back to the chorus, but honestly i dont mind it all that much. Or atleast compared to how that place (and the buses going from it) looks and smells after like 8pm
If it was up to me to choose the best looking station judging by the platform design, it would definitely be Nádraží Holešovice. I absolutely love the inclined pattern made from smooth glazed brick tiles. It's sharp, 80's style yet ageless, great color scheme and contrast to the underwall. If the ground level station was in a better shape and the platform was cleaner, this would be a true masterpiece. I also really like Náměstí republiky stations on the B line, all the "booby" stations on the A line + Skalka and Dejvická. After the reconstruction of the Národní třída station, it became the cheapest looking station ever, as the original colored glass panes were replaced with a very basic glossy plastic with an orange peel texture (like a poorly done car paintjob), just awful. The same goes for the white ceiling plastics in almost every B line station which I think were also glass originally
Střížkov is really confusing, everytime i went there i ended up on the other side of the building than i wanted to. And even though its design kinda doesn't fit in the communist flats, its still cool
Well, that's the typical Kotas's design. Structures that never blend with their surroundings, visually still take inspiration from the 90's and are near impossible to service and maintain. I like the Střížkov's design overall though
I mean.. almost all of them, yeah, lol well, it's a subjective scale, I wouldn't put much emphasis on the rating and thank you! glad you enjoyed the video
I'm wondering why you are so harsh towards the city, in the past few years they have been expanding the transit at a good pace. Look for example to Belgrade how long they're taking to build a single metro station...

Nádraží Holešovice is definitely up these in terms of my favorite stations!

They have, and that's a good thing. it's probably a case of the grass is greener on the other side, since I live here haha
