    Tennis is very cruel, when Ajla was peaking in her career she got injured. I remember that Wimbledon match vs Rybakina where she was playing almost at the same level. I hope Ajla can recover that level

    ajlas a dangerous player for anyone, shes a really clean ball striker but its always mental with her. played great up until 5-3 and then backed off a bit, causing martic to dictate the points more. she didnt step into the court more until she was 4-1 down in the 3rd. shes challenged so many players like Halep, Svitolina, Kenin, Pliskova when they were in their prime but always falls short mentally. her injuries came at a bad time after making 3 QF’s in the last 2 years at slams, i hope she can get back to her 2021/2022 form because she deserves atleast a WTA title for her career. shes a lot better than people think she is.

      @bigrobsydney 5 месяцев назад

      She's very solid, up to a point. The big players today are too much for her. Aryna and Elena have the power to roll over Ajla (and most others too), and Iga uses the court and hits her discretionary shots incredibly well.

      @@bigrobsydney on paper yes but im a fan of Ajla and have been following her results for 8+ years. shes no pushover. her shots are deep and hard to attack, she almost took the first set off pegula at united cup last week (shouldve), a d beat sabalenka a couple years back. if she can beat ostapenko on grass i think she has a chance against anyone tbh. i rarely see ajla roll over against the big players she loves playing them. she chokes A LOT against them, but she puts up a good fight.

    • @bigrobsydney
      @bigrobsydney 5 месяцев назад

      @@patriciabazzi6532 Problem is, she has barely played in the last 12 months. Beating Petra is a great result, but I think you'll find the big players are stronger. Much stronger.

    Buen partido, una consulta para los que saben de estos torneos, por que si es un Gran Slam, las mujeres lo juegan como otro torneo a ganar 2 de 3 6 los hombres a 3 de 5?

    I watched, they filmed Petra Martic when she was winning the last set 4-1. She was laughing, with a mocking face, She thought the game was won. Result: She slowed down, and lost 5 games in a row.
