Living 5 mins away from the course my entire life has been a challenge knowing I’ll most likely never play it. Did get the chance to walk the grounds during the Liv Golf tournaments though, it’s such a beautiful course.
I don't care if you are or are not sponsored/associated/taking money/whatever from LIV. Your content continues to get better as you grow and you're still enjoyable to watch plain and simple. The fact that they're "letting you" tag along to all of their events and do more content makes it even better for you and at the end of the day, that's really all that matters

Disappointed that the PGA Tour took such a juvenile stance on LIV Golf. I love playing and watching golf. If the product is good I will watch it. Love your channel!

I’ve played the course a couple of times. The 3W you hit on Silver #2 with 257y to go was outstanding. It was about a 230y carry over the water and massive and deep front green bunker.

That corn is likely silage corn for cows, not humans. Used to work on a small farm in NH. One day a rich guy from NYC pulled up in his Mercedes to buy corn from our roadside stand. He looked at the ears we were selling and accused us of trying to rip him off because he'd seen the field of silage corn on the other side of the house. We told him feel free to pick your own. He went back to the city with a dozen ears of silage corn.

When you play these tough courses it really hammers home the need to keep your iron shots and chips below the hole. Putting downhill on 12 greens is impossible

I watched the LIV tournament yesterday for the first time and was so impressed. Players wearing shorts, colored score board, and over all new concepts..I’m sold!
To each his own. To me, it's like watching college sports. I don't like the layout of the tv coverage and the team uniforms. Also, I'm not a fan of the team format.

I personally have mixed feelings about LIV, but I can say for certain that I don't like that Norman basically divided the game for the sake of his own pocketbook/ego. Either way, I'm glad that you're still staying true to yourself and the channel. And hey, if things like this come up, ya gotta take it! I'd rather your channel grow more than the tours. I got to play here 3 years ago. Jerrys car collection was the best part. Great golf course and hardly anyone else there playing that day. Very enjoyable.
For some reason, watching you on the range was like watching Corey Pavin back in the day. So smooth.
I really like the LIV events,, nice to see something different. NBC and their commercials every 3.5 minutes drives me crazy. 🙂

Love your variety of content: club tours, going pro, hole strategy, etc. When you play a round, please keep us updated on your score hole by hole. Match play would be a good add. Don't need to see you getting dressed.

LIV is Ok with me. No strong feelings one way or another. I don't understand people complaining about what kind of commercial plays. People just want to whine these days.
As long as a person is happy of what they do and feel good about doing it, then continue to do it. There will always be those who will disagree, so be it. You look like your having fun and it's an enjoyment to watch you.

That cottage is called Betty Anne’s cottage. It was named after Jerry’s first wife, Betty. She used to play cards there with her friends before she died of MS. The lake is called Clyde lake.

Which gets me here: Distance. Might be time to use that amazing short game to your advantage, and start swinging hard. You are giving up too much . What’s gonna happen, you hit it crooked?
I’m rooting for you. It’s inspiring to watch you play and go for it. I believe if you invested in hitting it 300yds it could really unlock your true potential. The real objective would be 280yds+ On course.
I guess they call it speed training now. Haha. Us old guys have a different name. Take 6-8weeks and play bombs away. With everything. Wedges too. Swing harder!!!!

Beautiful course, I lived in Sugar Grove years ago when Rich started with a self made 9 hole course & charged $5 honor system to play, super nice guy & inventor $$

There is nothing like playing a course like this! Looking forward to some similar but tropical locations soon.
Always Enjoy the Club Tours. Especially the Private Golf Clubs I will never get a chance to visit.. You should do some more Club Corp Private Golf Club Tours.. There is like 13 Courses in North Georgia and I think I have only seen 3 or 4 Tours or course layouts. Good one to try is the The Clubs of Peachtree City and Newnan. They have like 5 different Clubs Houses?
The LIV broadcast is SO much better than the PGA because they spread the coverage around, the leaderboard is always there, and the broadcasters themselves are enjoyable.

Nice video. Thank you for the commentary. It looks like the changes you are making to your swing are taking hold. The changes look more natural and you seem to be more confident standing over the ball. What are you doing to mentally prepare for your advances in your game?

Beautiful course! Welcome to Chicago suburbs. I'm about 45-55 miles straight south of you in Gardner. Lived here my whole life and there must be hundreds of public/private courses in this area!

Matt, Another great video. As far as LIV vs PGA. The PGA just seems to use a stuffy business model. While LIV seems to be a little more free as far as what can be done by players and spectators. What you are doing is giving a lot of us who will never see this a closer look. Thank you! For myself I don't mind watching whatever LIV asked you to promote.

Huge fan of LIV Golf. Went to the Boston event and it was a lot more enjoyable than the US Open at Brookline. Been to many tournaments and the vibe and atmosphere at LIV Boston was better than all the others IMO. Just more golf to watch....

A side note, you compare the way the good good boys were treated by the PGA when they had to go back and forth to try and release Matts par 3 hole in one video vs the way creators are treated at LIV events… worlds apart.
