A true American treasure!!
"the socialites and psychopaths are dancing with each other . . . 35 bodies lying in the highway/children forced to dig the graves of their fathers" -- amazing song -- *chills* -- THANK YOU, Alejandro, for SAYING this!
Alejandro is a national treasure
GREAT MUSIC! i'm ashamed at myself that i'm just becoming aware of this guy!
Most people didn't know where he went after the Nuns. I didn't here of him again until 2008. So we're all just finding him again.
One of the best live shows I have ever seen.
I've seen him bunches of times....one time Andrew Bird led off. Never disappoints. He just turned 70 and is going to quit touring. What a loss.
first time listening to him, i leave impressed.
Go Alejandro Go! love the sound and the dynamics..
Dynamics?
@@73spain Yeah...dynamics as in band energy, love of performing and joy.
Dig it, man. Another great song from Alejandro
Nice version. Love this man live. Seen him so many times, from the Continental Club to the Cactus Cafe, Hole In the Wall, Kentucky Theater, The Dame, Singletary Center to Willie's Locally Known.
Alejandro sing in my Little city in this Night. ... In South Italy .....Name of Town is Cosenza , region is Calabria .
absolutely amazing live.
I just saw him perform this last night with a cellist. It was magical
God, I wish I could of witnessed that~! He is GREAT!
I believe the cellist may have been a guy named Brian. He's amazing.
Saw this electric with just a cellist. I was awestruck.
Very nice bass playing.
I get to go to Texas to see him this coming Saturday! YAAAAAAAAAY
have seen him many times a true treasure
Steve Earle led me to this amazing musician, Alejandro Escovedo.
Pretty great for any age, but especially for a guy in this 60' who's lived through pure hell.
Such a sadly beautiful song.
This is so F'ing good.
Proud to be the first to respond to this 21st Century adult division masterpiece!
A true troubadour. American treasure for sure.
Alejandro Escovedo is coming to the inaugural North Oak Cliff Music Festival Nov.3,2012 at Lake Cliff Park 300 E. Colorado Dallas,TX 75208 Noon - 8pm tickets available at the Kessler Theater.

Great music
Nice! Great Sound!!
This is the real stuff...
A New Yorker article brought me here!
Just read a wonderful article about him in the New Yorker. Just wondering, at my age, how I never heard of him?????
Whole album is great. Where have I been?
Wow!
How about these apples!
now I run a little colder....
He reminds me of Robbie Robertson
George A that's rather an insult to Al.
I think Paradise stole a little something
I didn't know Philip Seymour Hoffman played guitar
his voice sounds like david bowie
Back up singers are awful.
This guy needs a better band name.
Go away troll
