Small Bale Baling with NEW New Holland Baler and "Straight Eight" Sledge.

I saw a small bale set up while filming the combine and was told it'd be out later. Here it comes! And into the straw, and come the bales tumbling, some fall wrong, of course (nothing's changed). All farmer owned and very nice farmer, too, and son. Tractor is MF 5455 I think.

Thanks Jan. There's a good market in this country for small bales. Horse people I suppose or small holdings with no machinery to sort big bales (we had a job, at Balmesh, to get straw for the calves out of a big bale!)

Yes, that wasn't much fun. We used to walk around a moving trailer which was more fun!

Good one Alan. Nice little setup. Farm we stay on has a JD 459 got it 6-7 years ago they used to have a very old Massey small square and straight 8. That makes some neat little bales alright. A 5455 it is. Think I know where that is?
