And the ones they DO choose to glance over, the women's long jump final, would've been nice to show the Silver and Bronze athlete's best jumps as well. What would've that taken.... 15 extra seconds?? It is insane how fast these people can walk. I'm in pretty good shape, and I can only run 10k in 47 minutes. So these people are faster than me walking!
for the bronze medal, those who clocked the same time shld be given bronze. no need to go to the millisecond. then only you will invite more interest and more spectators
World athletics, you consistently create the most pathetic highlights packages out of any sport I follow. 2 and a half minutes from a day with a morning and afternoon session. It's shameful. No wonder the sport is floundering compared to so many others. It shows disdain for the people who care about the sport and support it at grass roots levels.
Let's not even talk about the inability to rewatch everything. It's all becoming a big money grab, because miss most the morning sessions due to work and because the local broadcasting only shows the afternoon sessions, so you watch half the games, it's ridiculous. would like to rewatch the races, relive the moment as they say but can't.
@@panner11 well they seem to be amazing at removing the content. But damn, is it so difficult to find a place where you can rewatch an entire race? or see an entire event? Locally here in the Netherlands, for all the national championships, you get 2 streams available all around the world, so i can watch here in the netherlands, but also my parents back in Aruba can watch. A stream dedicated to field events and a stream dedicated to track. And let's say you're a normal person and had to work that day, you can always come home at night and rewatch the event, not some bs 1 minute "highlight"with little to no commentary.
