I think this might be one of my favorite houses of yours so far (I am watching oldest to newest, so I know there are a lot still to come) I agree - if you are going to skimp on a room it should be the bedroom - each sim and each simmer will want them a little different. I have noticed that you don't seem to make nurseries - is that because of how you play or just that you don't like specifying a room for a baby/toddler?
Ga, USA has one too. It so children don't walk into your yard and drown in your pool. If you have an above ground pool, no need for a fence. You just have to take the ladder out.
You could do a house where it's really character driven, have a viewer driven sort of character creation of a family (you don't have to actually create the sims but just their house). Just for a wee challenge, avoiding the generic bedrooms and living rooms and things...
For all the crap we give EA, I think they (more accurately their Maxis subsidiary) hit a home run with the Sims 3. Sure, I have a few minor complaints for it, but the sheer level of creative freedom it grants builders more than makes up for them. Advancing in the career paths is also super fun. In regards to this house, I love its combination of retro and avante-garde. It isn't too overly bizarre, but it breaks the rules.
You should try makeing a small live in childs school and just to make it slightly clearer small is the size of a M house where the childs rooms have a bunkbed and a loftbed so the room can fit 3 kids

My house does, as also my parents house, 3 of my cousin's homes, my sisters, my grandparents home, 6 of my uncles (my grandma had 15 kids), my aunts home, and my mother and father in laws homes, and I live in America. I find it a good idea though, it's good so that if my son is crying, I can go take care of him, with me wearing a towel of corse. :P :)
When you said that all the windows would change i like the way the windows were and its sorta upsetting that they changed but its your house and you have every right to change them

Do you mean bathtub? Or full bathroom? Cause full bathrooms are very very common. As for baths, our only bathtub is downstairs.
