Good video, and I feel like I can do this myself. Now I just need to make sure to purchase the correct LED strip to fit in the channel. Suggestions on a resource to make sure I get the correct one? Thanks!
Good afternoon, and thank you for the feedback! You can visit any authorized Keystone RV dealership or you may go online to www.trekwood.com to see what would go with your unit specifically. Thank you.
Good morning, we do not, however that is a great video recommendation! RUclips has quite a few videos from other owners, and dealerships on this. Thank you for your inquiry!
Our lights are this type that slide in. All the replacement lights I've found are described with an adhesive backing. Do you know if they will work if the adhesive backing is not removed? Thanks.
Good morning, yes, they should still work in this instance. If you have questions or run into issues, please feel free to call our retail team at 1-866-425-43696 Monday - Friday. Thank you.
We use the awning manufacturer's brand. If you are having issues with yours, and if you qualify for our DIY program, what we send you would be what was originally installed in production. If you are looking just to order a new one, you can order through any authorized dealership or through Trekwood online at www.trekwood.com. If you aren't sure if you qualify for the DIY program or not, please do reach out to our retail team at 1-866-425-4369, or visit us online at www.keystonerv.com. Thank you.
Great video. If you do another one please spend more time sliding the strip into the tube. I used the OEM /LCI product. With the help of silicone spray, it went nice till 1/2 way. I was tempted to install it from the rear and pull it in by the wires. I was hesitant because no one else dared to do it. (Nor mention it) What do you think about pulling on the wires.

I watched this and first thing I thought was "it's easier to pull than push" when it comes to flexible material. I'll likely use soap as a lubricant so it can be easily washed away and superglue a string to the far end to pull it through. Of course, this plan may change as I start doing things, but it's Plan A

Off subject: I have a Cougar 29BHS and like all Cougars the cabinets above the bed swing up. (No Struts) I'd like to see a Keystone Designer/Engineer put their underwear and socks away neatly with one hand. It can't be done!!

Great video. For me the first 1.5’ feeds in without an issue but then it gets stuck. Any suggestions on feeding it through?
Exactly my question lol
What type of led strip do I need to get to fit in the track on a 2016 Keystone Hideout?

Maybe you could have attached a thin twine to the old strip before you removed it. That would make pulling the replacement much easier.
Thank you for your feedback!
