Last year I shaved both sides of my head, leaving the top and back long, and have used many of your tutorials to braid the long part. This one is the one I do the most. I never braided my hair prior and these videos have helped so much.

I decided to grow my hair out long again last year (after over a decade of keeping it pixie cut or shorter) and was getting ready to chop it all off again bc I thought hair styling was just beyond me. You explain and show everything so well I've actually been able to get great results doing them myself!!!!😊😊😊😊

So I have a question. I'm doing a version of this with three braids; two underneath side-by-side, and the third laid over top. It's an outdoor, in-the-snow, December wedding (not this year's) and I'll be wearing a hooded cloak. I have bum-length, thick hair like your daughter. The difference is, mine is shagged with the shortest sections being about 5 inches. I need a lot of volume in the ends, so I've added a 22 inch halo extension. Now I want to place the band of that halo between two sections of each of the three braids to serve as an added anchor. If I pouff the hair enough at the elastics around the base of my skull, do you think it would conceal the weft? Or am I going to need to sew it?
