    Beautiful photos and the working of the drilling for our precious commodity-oil- caught by a truly gifted photog.....Takes a tremendous amount of "clicks" of the camera to obtain the "just"-right photo. your work is to be congratulated.! 4/16/016

    Awesomeness!!! I was born and raised on a drilling rig. My Dad worked on them all his career. Started roughnecking and was a bigshot for Chevron when he retired. I somehow managed to escape from the oil field after 10 years working there...

      me to , my dad worked for getty oil ,man richest in the world for a while , many lost fingers doing the oil drilling, i remember the sound they all make up and down

    As a photographer myself, I see the beauty in industrial imagery that many do not. I have been to Bob's gallery and for any photographer in the area or passing through, especially those of us who shoot a lot of "industrial" subject matter, it is a must-see.

    I wish I knew what camera lens (aperture/focal length) he prefers for those rig and sky shots.

    Oil gave us our world, if you want to live in a cave rubbing 2 sticks for fire go right ahead but I'll stay here in my modern oil powered world.
