"J.B. Buchanan discovered his love for windmills at the ripe old age of three, when he witnessed his mother climb one to save her youngest son who had somehow found his way up there" ~ J.B. Died in 2003

What a sweet man. A much more simple time with more life lived with compassion and devotion than now

Great story, I have salvaged 2 windmills and built my own wooden towers for them. Something about hearing the sounds they make when the wind blows. Almost like they are talking to ya. Also a good way to tell people where you live. Im the place with the 2 windmills. 😊

I grew up with windmills around worked on a bunch. Have always loved them. To me they are like a long time friend. Glade to see Spearmen take up these old mills .

Youngsters don't want anything to do with work much anymore, and that is a shame. Thankfully there are still some good people trying to keep things going.

Some people these days think of those Wind Turbines as Windmills. It's sad people don't know what a true windmill is.
