I remember Tex Randell. From stories my parents told me. Road trips and vacation stories. But I couldn't remember where Tex was. I got to old. Lol

Oh I miss the good old days, back in the 70's I could call my bank about getting a loan at 9:00 am, and stop by on my lunch break and pick up the money.

I remember a strange thing called an interest bearing savings account.

Are there plans to restore him?

I think this an old story. I thought he had already been restored. He did get a state historical marker erected right next to him to tell his story.
