The simplicity of these steelbooks is what really sold it for me. Too many covers are crowded with characters and just feel messy. Great set, just got it for cheap!

Concept art inside should have been the Avengers formation (Assemble), dinner scene or the side-view shot from the opening (Age of Ultron), charge in Wakanda or Thanos watching a sunrise (Infinity War), and the big three facing Thanos (Endgame). Would have made this a flawless set in my eyes.
I ordered this cuz I love the matching covers but the inside artwork is pretty bleh especially for endgame and the first avengers. There’s much nice concept art with the whole team that would’ve done it better

If these Steelbooks had been embossed this would have been a killer set. The only thing good about it is the case.
Nice review! Honestly the case that steelbook come in is nice. But the steelbooks themselves are meh. The concept art inside them are kinda of lame should of been a scene from the movie. Definitely won't pick this up. Infinity war is my fav.

I kinda don't like the fact that they put captian america as the steelbook art, I honestly think it should have been tony cap and thor the 3 og's

I bought this and I don’t remember the last time I seriously regretted such a large purchase.. $160 for 4 movies, 3 of which I already owned, what was I thinking! All for matching steelbooks.

I have the standard 4K Blu-Rays for both "Infinity War" and "Endgame", and the first "Avengers" film on Blu-Ray. (I still don't have "Age of Ultron", though.) And I would happily trade them for this set. It looks AWESOME.
The fact that the discs have artwork on them also helps.

Can you watch only these 4 movies and kinda get the overall story without watching the other 19? Or the others that are essential?
You can do that but these movies constantly reference events and jokes from the other MCU movies. You won't be lost, you just won't feel as immersed or satisfied. Part of the joy with these Avengers movies is seeing the lead up to them and how the previous movies affect them. These are their own self contained movies with their own story and whatnot though. The action should still kick ass.
I recommend you watch civil war after age of ultron because that will explain parts of infinity war and endgame. I’d also watch guardians 1 as that has more thanos details but it isn’t entirely necessary

how big is the set, dimensions wise? i won a box set from best buy and wanted to get something to protect it & can't find anything on their website or online. thank you, if you know or if someone else replies.

It’s not actual 4K, but upscaled from 2K to 4K.
The last 2 films were shot with 6k IMAX cameras. Disney is just cheap as fk with their products.
Might aswell buy the case there stored in and get individual steelbooks to put in it

@@Evan15 he said the set and endgame steelbook. Its $150 for steelbook set and $35 for the separate 4k steelbook. I did the same thing and its $200 overall. $150 for the set. So around $37 a steelbook. So basically regular price because u r paying for the amazing box case for the set.

Well at least these steelbooks inside art is better, the avengers steelbooks I have, all have just IRON MAN on the inside, I'm like I thought this was an avengers movie lol.
