I must say, this is a beautiful set. I hate that they put this out and put forth this amount of effort BEFORE Rise of the Beasts could be included in it, but it is a very nice set regardless. Beautifully done, and I love that it's all 4K steelbooks throughout. This franchise definitely had its ups and downs. Far more downs than ups, but it was still entertaining all the same. At some point I'd love to do a retrospective on this series and rank them just for my own edification.
I only consider the first 3 worth my time, and I'll stick with my german bluray steelbook release of the trilogy. Takes up the space of 1 steelbook, and contains all the Transformer movies I'll ever want to rewatch...
@@GamezGuru1 alot of folks feel the same, the franchise ended with 3. The rest just didnt make sense,and only cool action of those 2 was the 4th one. With dinobots I believe? that was pretty cool and in imax and 4k at home blu ray! :D But this new transformers coming out june, looks frickin awesome and I hope corrects those 2 films replacement mistake, bumblebee was really good. Fixed some of michael bay's mistake with another director and it did well! I put it off for awhile, thinking it was gonna be terrible. It was actually insanely done well and I had a good time!
Rise of the Beasts is the first of a planned trilogy. So it makes sense for it to not be included in this set.
They released this box set to promote rise of the beast.

I really like the artworks on both the first Transformers movie and Bumblebee steelbooks! Seems like a really nice steelbook box set!
Bubble bee one of my favorites too because I grew up in the 90s the nostalgic was definitely there
Looks very cool. Do not want to spend over $130 on it though. If it ever drops below $80, I will jump on it. If it doesn't, I'll live without it.

Tax Collector steelbook $10.99 never heard of this movie but it's a sweet looking steelbook and made by the same people who made Trainning Day.
They had a bunch of other 4ks on sale in the $9.99 to 10.99 range like all the Batman animated movies and Wizzard Of Oz but I'm not really into those.
The guy at the register did mention to keep an eye out for more sales this weekend.

If I were to rank the live action Transformer movies I would go in this order (Best to worst):
Dark of the Moon > BumbleBee > Transformers (1) > Age of Extinction > Revenge of the Fallen > The Last Knight.
What does everyone else think?

Hard for me to rank "Bumblebee" as I don't really watch it a lot.
Bought these individually when BB had them on clearance around Christmas last year. All I'm missing is Bumblebee.

Really great steelbook set, I like the design, they all look good. I'm also happy and glad they included ALL the special features disc (I hate it when they omit them from any normal release!!) The problem is that makes it that we have no standard BD but I'm good with that lacking in exchange of the extras.
I preordered this as soon as it was able to. Can't wait to get my hands on this.
More than worth it people need to stop complaining
I just want to point out that the front label might be misleading when it has "+ Blu-ray" on it. The non-steelbook 5-movie set omit the "Blu-ray" on the front label as despite having Blu-ray discs in the package all those discs are merely special features; 4K disc feature film, Blu-ray disc special feature. Seems to be the case also for this steelbook set with Bubblebee the only one with standard Blu-ray feature film. Might not make a lot of difference for those interested only in 4K but geez it seems like an oversight. Also for IMAX fan, there's no indication that the Extended IMAX scenes are included for these movies.
The other pack with just the 5 movies came like this, but weirdly the first and second movie, the 3-5 it had the blu-ray movie, until they ran out I think because a friend bought it months after me and it came just 4K movies and the Blu rays were all bonuses,
(And nope I think the second one it doesn't have the IMAX scenes, the 4th and 5th I think they have it)

That's an awesome set, Ken. The third one is one of my faves beyond the 1st. The 4ks previously released were great video and audio. Bumblebee was a prequel to the 1st.
Bumblebee is a reboot.
Got this from Best Buy for $113 for being a member of their my best buy deal.
1st one is good and then all the whalburger ones were solid. I like the last night . It was a good sci-fi movie.
Great looking box set reminds me of the extended edition lord of the rings trilogy blu ray set (first print) .. magnetic flap and all.. i agree that the steelbooks should have padding between each like the Rambo set had.. also will hold onto the old special edition blu rays I have of each Transformers movie because they all came with 2 discs (one for movie and another for special features).. the box sets only have the movies on disc.

Guys I need some help so I really do like the packaging of this set but thing is I already own 1 & 2 on 4K so not sure if I should just look for the standard 4K package or get this set

I really wish they would have left space for the upcoming TRANSFORMERS steelbook could fit in the BOX. Thanks by the way for showing us what was in the BOX (BREIFCASE) they wouldn’t show us in RONIN or PULP FICTION
Very very nice set and I can’t complain about the pre order price of 91€ I got on it either. It won’t come out in Europe until the end of june for us.
This set looks amazing. I really wanted to add it to my collection but I've already ordered three and all three have arrived damaged. I don't understand why retailers don't use more protection when shipping these expensive sets. I'm going to have to return all three and just miss out on this one. Great unboxing though!

Why the first and second movie the blu-ray says "disc 2" is just the bonus features? The same for 3 and 4th.
The steelbook are aight but I’m happy with the ones that I got on 4k for these movies too so I’m good with that one Kenny buddy

I’m disappointed the logo on the 4K discs don’t have the font from the Trilogy that’s on the image of the J-card and on the spine of each steelbook for reissuing and just kept the ones they released in 2017 with TLK font.
The ocd in me if they’d don’t match it when rise of the beasts comes out on 4K.
Nice box set but I own them all and there just not worth triple dipping 😭
Make sure you watch them on your OLED and soundbar. The bigger and better the screen and the better the sound system the more fun and enjoyable these movies are.
The art looks cool. The cardboard sleeve already showing corner issues is not cool. I already own all of them in 4K. There is a new one coming out this year and I am sure another set coming next year. No need for me to buy.
I know this is totally off subject, but Ken I'm wondering what is going on with classic James Bond? Do you know if Sean Connery's or Roger Moore's James Bond films are coming to 4k? I don't like to stream which is what Apple TV is offering right now.
I did reviews of the 5-movie collection on 4K and thought they are reference discs. Amazing video and audio. My favs of the franchise are #4 & #5. I do love the first three. But the more I watch them, the more I dislike the Sam Witwicky character.

Holy fuck once again they fucked up and say it is 4K + Blu-Ray when it is 4K only 😢 the Blu-Ray Disc is not the movie it’s just the Special Features and used recycled discs. Wow will definitely wait for a price drop.
Dark of the Moon is great. It's so great, in fact, that Avengers 2012 copied the entire movie.

My favorite one is Transformers 5 The Last Knight 2017 since I just love Laura Haddock in that move she is so sexy as hell in that movie bro and she did a great job too and I don’t personally don’t get the hate for that movie either and I remember seeing it in theaters with my mom too 6 years ago and also the third movie too I remember seeing in theaters when I was a junior in high school too good old times too and it was my favorite one at that time but not it’s the 5th movie now my favorite one but that just me though in my opinions Kenny bro

It looks good but I’m not a fan of the movies and I hate how they’re so close together, I would be afraid over time they would scratch.

Its a nice steelbook set, but it feels weird adding Bumblebee to the set since its not part of the Michael Bay series.
I won’t buy these sets since I already own them on 4K already except for Bumblebee 2018 since I don’t care for standalone movies and don’t care for the character for Bumblebee either but that just me though and it’s just necessary for me to buy them again but I just need to rebuy T3 DOTM since it scratches on me on certainly scenes and I hate when that happens too and hopefully next time I order it it won’t happen again

Bummer only a cardboard box thought it was a steel box when first pictures came out. But then again it won’t be dented. No dividers either hmmmmm

These movies are a hit or miss for me. I own all of them in 4k already so will probably skip this since I’m sure they will do another set with the new movie that’s coming out

- Only 'Last Knight' 4K preserves the Multi-Aspect 'IMAX' Ratio.
- I have the 2D BD version of #2 with IMAX scenes
- #4 is available on BD with IMAX in 3D Only.

Nice steelbooks but the outer cardboard packaging they come in is very disappointing, typical of Paramount in my opinion, as it not only looks cheap (sorry, it just does) but it isn't very practical for taking out and putting back the contents. Those steelbooks are tightly packed and are almost certainly going to get scratched over time. And what's the point of that flap that just gets in the way when you want to take out a movie?
Why don't Paramount do nice outer steel cases to hold these sets in like Warner's do? It's like their cheapskates or something and it's not like this is a cheap set. It's £120 here in the UK.
The fact that the box isn’t steel like most steelbook box sets is a no sell. What a missed opportunity. Also there really shouldn’t be a 6 on bumblebee as it has nothin to do with the original movie continuity. Its basically a reboot

I am done double dipping. Cancelled my preorder. Not worth picking up in this inflation. Rather invest money on titles I do not have. Plus lousy packaging, the steels will end up getting damaged.

The box set is awesome but i really hate these movies
I stopped watching after the 3rd movie. Couldn't cope with how cringe the characters were with that "classic" Michael Bay comedy. I was a huge fan of the cartoons & genuinely loved the original film, but as with everything Michael Bay does it quickly devolves to unfunny, explosion porn.

I can not watch or own the Michael Bay transformers because of Megan fox. Horrible acting and for some reason they tried to sexualize her. It’s disgusting.
