WOW! Hydrilla, mucky water, lock systems, gators, snakes, intense heat, hundred of Jet Skis at the sandbar, violent thunder storms, etc...I think I'll stick to New England waters. I have the idf (Intelligent Debris Free system) on my Sea Doo and have had to use it on three occasions. It has worked perfectly and gives you great peace of mind when I was unlucky enough to have sucked up some debris. Reversed the engine and cleaned it right out. Entertaining video as always. Thanks for sharing. (ibr is the braking system)
Bob same thing that happened to your friend happened to me when i ran into shallow water. you could tell no water was coming out of the spray nozzle out the back. I brought to a small beach area and let it cool off, i rocked it left and right for a minute or two and then rocked it bow to stern and started up no problem.
Yes I. Am go back to my early days on a ski to present with clogging issues leading to overheat warnings. It’s is not the rear safety spray discharge you are looking for it is the side discharge from the engine near your left foot ( both sides on a super charged engine) ... graham had his side discharge working so he really just had to overcome his overheat fault. Later after I left his engine shut off in a high speed turn because if the fault and that is how he ended up in the weeds again in the last scene of the video after the map! Ha. Thanks for watching! Bob
Thanks Tommy…. This was suppose to be just a casual lake ride and maybe a couple of water trails and then we came to a stop. Ha Thanks for watching…. ! Hope you are a subscriber!
A clogged intake is common in the waters where you sail, seems dangerous to me in areas with gators and water snakes. I'm curious if Yamaha will also install the option with which you can clean your intake of seaweed and such with a reverse flow, just like with Seadoo. For now I wish you a good trip.
Yamaha needs to catch up with Seadoo on a number of issues - electronic tech that works and the IBR… even as you saw in a video not too long ago… we were riding I. The open Gulf of Mexico and there was sea grass floating anywhere. I am sure a Seadoo IBR system would clear it easily! Thanks for watching as always.. Bob
It used to be my favorite local lake for testing things out and going in stress free great rides as it’s the closest lake … then they started charging $10 ramp fee… still a beautiful body of water! 👍👍 Tha is for watching! We were there May 18th. Bob
Normally I suspect they would have looped the rope through the eyelet which would not have broken but they just did a quick hook up… the tow got Graham far enough toward open water he could then self rescue. Thanks for watching! Bob
hey bob, i want to add a lowrance to my seedoo GTI 130. What mount would i use and where did you order yours from? i watched you installation video......thanks. love. your videos
Hi Linda… thanks for watching… I pointed out your question to Loren at Boondockspwc… I do not know if he has any Seadoo mounting solutions. I know many Seadoos have a OEM mount for the Garmin chartplotter, do not know if yours does but if you ask this question the Seadoo FB group I bet someone will be able to assist you. Sorry I cannot be more helpful… just do not know much about Seadoo mounting opportunities. Bob
Loren said he does not make parts that fit Seadoos… but GCjetskifishing.com does… he says it is a bit more complicated than a Yamaha install. I would start with your local Seadoo dealer and see what they think. Again sorry I am not much help. Bob
yeah the water level of the lake has been dropping a lot over the last week... Its down at least three feet from this time last year I was out on my ski all weekend but I stay off the airboat trails for that reason
Thank you for watching and commenting. I appreciate the offer to ride but I am probably not much fun to go out with as I only ride on weekdays, and almost always solo or with a small cadre of friends I have been riding with for many years. Just wanted to give you an honest reply. Been out in the Gulf twice in the last two weeks, both solo... all of my rides are repeatable however with the maps and ramp information in the written description.
My wife and I just got jet skis and will be riding Mondays and Tuesdays. We are new to riding and figured we could learn some tips from you and your friends.
Yes I do and I think Danny does also. I carry it in my center compartment in low stress rides and on my PFD on solo or higher stress rides. Thanks for watching and commenting…. Bob👍👍
First off you cannot take a jet ski into the Everglades National Park, but this video may help you in other places that are high risk: ruclips.net/video/RijB4ut9tT8/видео.html
When you have to break out the paddle on a jet ski, things are getting shallow.
Yep… and when I took mine out I realized I was not really floating, rather I was resting in a mud pile…. But not stuck! Ha! Thanks for watching! Bob
What a fun trip, especially for Graham!
Ha! Thanks for watching… really missed seeing you guys this weekend…. 🙁. Bob

What's the #1 rule I always say for running those trails? Never ever stop 🤣
Tell that to the guys shared of me! Hahahaha…. I never got stuck! 👍
Nice. Been going to that lake for the last couple of weeks since I picked up the new to me ski. When were you there to film this?

Ya'll need some soft shackles. They won't break. I use them with my Jeep.
