Some possibly confusing things to explain: Ballas was always working with Erra, that's how Erra is even back in the first place. In the second cutscene just before the quest, Lotus seems pretty skeptical of everything Erra says because he's hiding stuff from her, while Ballas is constantly switching between acting scared and actually even smiling or just being annoyed at the leash. Then at the end, Erra throws her into the furnace part and Ballas stands up as equals with Erra. (This is cleared up more later but) Erra didn't really want to be king, another sentient was born for that, and Erra was partnered with Ballas... Ballas brought the veil that controlled everyone and also got rid of all the Tenno with whatever weird thing he did at the time of stabbing you. So he kinda earned it Also do not forget about that Paracesis stab, it'll be very important in the next quest that's coming early next year
@ayushdeshmukh284 I would like to add something even worse to what you say here. Because all things actually suggest until now, that Ballas was not "only" cooperating with Erra, but even actually "re-created copy" of Erra, that he could control. And that would explain pretty firmly, why Erra believes, he survived the Tenno attack. While Lotus is "concrete sure", they destroyed him there. And explains also, why Erra is so easily overpower by Ballas later and never fights back with him, despite witnessing, how he abuse everyone including whole Sentient kind. And "just help" Tenno, at the end, when it's too late.
God, the Drifter and Hunhow back and forth is put in a new perspective with the Duviri demo reveal. "Off to die again?" "Death leaves a mark, do you understand?" Like dayum past-shadowing much
And the Drifter also said: "Should've stayed in Duviri." I dunno if it's a random line or scripted, but it makes more sense hearing it now. (I just finished the new war)
One thing I found interesting about these beginning steps in the larger New War campaign is how significant it is to be able to see the conflict from other perspectives than just "ours." When this came out, Destiny 2 was going through a similar invasion of their own with the Pyramid ships and Savathun essentially abducting the famous Warlock Osiris and masquerading as him. I thought during most of that period...how epic would it have been if Bungie included a mission or quest where we play AS Osiris' partner, the legendary Titan Saint-14, in an endeavor to save his lover? Not only would it be a highly emotional climax to the teases and the songs playing in the Tower, but we could get a better view of Saint through HIS loadout, and hear one-liners as he's messing up Hive and taking down bosses. It didn't happen and never will. Playing as Teshin, as a Warframe player, is kind of akin to a Destiny player being able to play as Saint-14. Tenno got to do that...and Guardians didn't.
As someone who has never played Destiny, I appreciate the insight ☺️ playing as Teshin was quite the experience, my smooth brain took a bit to get the hang of it but once it got there all the happy chemicals came out haha. Again I appreciate the time you took here, Happy Holidays homie 🤙
12:20 *With your arms out* What IS that? I had that same feelsbadman reaction when the main character is forced to do nothing and lose in a cutscene like at this point in anyone's playthrough we've been fighting a war by ourselves and instantly and indiscriminately murdering tens of thousands of people and robots or just anything that moves. And it's inconsistent with the operator's powers and combat discipline to just slump for 15 seconds while ballas blabs and stabs. On top of that, in "The War Within" we learned that we can transference teleport across the whole freaking solar system so after lotus hits the portal we could have just transference teleported to our spare Rhino that has the drinks on the beach like... Was there really no emergency exit strat when we have the ability to teleport? BUT instead it's like "oh you got beat up in a cutscene because plot"
I would have been so devistated 😂 could only imagine how it would have felt if you were a veteran with thousands of hours and then they release New War and ur back to 0 😂😂

I've seen the game play demo for Duviri, was one of the first things I did after completing new war, the hype is real

I love how ballas says the tenno shall never return then the tenno return
Man the voice acting in this is fantastic.
Hell yea, Umbra’s the best frame for TNW, his 2 vs. the Sentients works wonders.
The drifter is technically you just a different time line seeping in

Love your videos and congrats on almost 600
Thank you ☺️
could you imagine if they did that? you play the new war, get stabbed. get logged out, then your back to MR 0? haha! that would be so damn mean lol
I would have been so devistated 😂 could only imagine how it would have felt if you were a veteran with thousands of hours and then they release New War and ur back to 0 😂😂
That was still a Kojima moment for me, though. Making us log back in to start playing again during the quest was a real trip.
I am glad I found your channel, you seem like a chill dude, subbed with the bell on
the constant cuts are pretty jarring tbh
Agreed
Tried to include all the key points without taking up too much time, will try make it smoother in future ❤️
@@ScorchHDTVsadly i find that kahl and vesos entire journeys count as key points. Everything about the quest was important in a special way.
If he had no reaction, there's nothing to see. You know how the quest goes already.
It is kinda video-jockey tier tho
Is this the one in a million who didnt watch the trailer before playing TNW? I have never found such a tenno.
Perhaps 😉
It's a circle drifting into a venn diagram; as time passes, it'll get more distant
12:50 100% agree 🔥🔥

Just don’t get stabbed lol
Oh damn I missed these recent drops watching now though.
WRYYYY
The quest that took three years to make, lol
Worth every second.
It took 8-10 months to make, as far as time spent actually working on it is concerned.
Anyone ever tell you, you look like Andrew Garfield
Can't say I've heard that one however, I am flattered ☺️
@@ScorchHDTV cool
Dude, at some point you stop being a new player.
Part 2
Duh I played this game at the new war duh
Im ur 1k subbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb
You are a legend 🤙
I'll sub to you
Why thank you ☺️
I think officially, you are my 600th sub ☺️☺️☺️
@@ScorchHDTV Trying to get there myself bro
