I got 12 minutes into the video and you asked me to like and subscribe and I was like "You know what, Ive been using this guys tutorials to make bendy rubberhose animations in cinema4d since I was 5 years old. Maybe its time I should let him know". I loved your tutorial on the marvelous designer cloth (if you only uploaded it sooner I really could've used your help there). Its because of you that I learned all the mograph effectors in Cinema4d. I've been working as a freelance motion designer for a year now and everything I know is because of you. So hey, thanks man! I also did your School of Motion, 3D summit thingy back in the day. Great content, c4d 2023 is looking mighty fine! I hope to see some water simulation or smoke simulation native soon! Thank you so much! Real life saver and so many useful tool and operations along the. I'm still struggling with pointy geometry popping out of the plastic wrap. Any tips?
Love this effect! I had a lot of issues getting the wrap to fold the way i wanted, because the Hexahedron geo doesnt seem to be optimal. What worked for me is duplicating the volume mesher chain used for the proxy geo but dilating the geo by a lot, applying a generous sdf smooth and then remeshing it to the resolution i want to replace the sphere geo :)
again! great tutorial and by the way at the plastic wrap around your face is like in the david fincher movie "the girl with the dragon tattoo" the scene at the end x) eh? anyways, thanks so much

Hey man, great stuff, thanks for sharing. How did you end up experimenting with the values of the cloth? I noticed that values were pretty unintuitive (I'm a Maya guy) so arriving at 9999, or whatever is unusual to my eye. How did you go about experimenting with values and their hihg-low ranges?
Values in C4D can be kinda wonky (I’ve found every update the values affect simulations differently as maxon tweaks it) so I just max stuff out and see what happens
Hi! Thank you for your tutorial. My soft body worked perfectly until I changed some of the object positions. Now the plastic wrap doesn't cover all of my objects. Some of the shapes are still out of the wrap. I checked that all my shapes are not overlapping each other also are in the initial sphere (plastic wrap) at frame 0. What happened! T.T
amazing tutorial as always but somehow I couldn't make the force work, everything there, it's just doing nothing even even on an empty clean project file. I am guessing because of my R26. Edit: got latest version with same license, installed, and it works. Maybe has something to do with "Use deformed object" option, which is missing on earlier versions.
Hey Seryil, I guess that i'm with the same problem here. Do you have any idea i could do to make it works? Where should I find the "Use deformed object"?
@@marcusfernandes1754 Hey Marcus, so it was a version problem for me. I was still using R26, then I switched to 2023 and everything worked for me. I don't think it's possible with earlier versions. Hope that helps.

I hope you can give any alternatives about this problem. Also, I made the plastic wrap, it didn't work like yours. I mean that It when it's wrapped, it's wrapped up up and down, so it works differently. So is there any alternatives to solve this problem?
