I’m here partially for the book recs but i’m also here to see what songs your brain will randomly associate with your words. 😂🤣😂🤣 My siblings and I communicate in this way fluently. 🥰
My favorite book man!! Always happy to see you posted a video! Keep singing in 2025! 2 book recommendations for you: Another Marrs book, I highly recommend the audiobook, the production is amazing, The Family Experiment. And another book where the audiobook is done really well, especially because of language and accents, Before The Mango Ripens. Have a great reading year!
The Family Experiment is next on my list, right after The Marriage Act. I guess I’m having a Marrs Marathon. Lol Just read the synopsis for Before The Mango Ripens. It sounds good!
I just had to come back and say I finallllly picked up Don’t Cry for Me after being on my shelf for like two years. This book is excellent!! I read it all in one sitting. I chose Isaac’s Song as my January BOTM pick. Thanks for the recommendation! I started out the year with a 5 star!
I read “Last Couple Standing” off a recommendation from this channel and it was easily a top 10 fave of this year. I had fun the whole way through. Most of my favorites came from this channel. Edit: Yup! Read “Don’t Cry For Me” off this channel and it was amazing. One of the most impactful reads for me. I love this channel so much.
Omg I bought James from my library today! I looked at their lil for sale shelf and it was $5 because it’s a new release. I almost left it but I had a feeling I needed it.
I love how you present each book. I am so glad to have found you awhile ago as you have helped my TBR continue to grow and I love it. Looking forward to another year of books with you. Happy New Year!
James was wonderful! I’m keeping it for a reread at some time. Great list you have presented! Issac’s song is first on my TBR list. Happy New Year! Happy Reading Year!
“Way over yonder”, “Pick your phone up and go sit down somewhere”, “It’s top 3, and it ain’t 3 or 2”😂😂😂You just make me laugh so much. I got James for Christmas off my Amazon wish list (sorry real bookstores), and I’m looking forward to it. The One sounds fascinating! How you described it had made me think of the same “flavor” of The Measure (which I loved). I just finished The Wedding People and really enjoyed how it unfolded and also how it ended. Do you think it’s necessary to read Don’t Cry for Me before Isaac’s song? Happy New Year! 🎆🎊 🥳
You got some books. I still need to get to James. Oh snap, The One was so good. I did a video about John Marrs last week. I read he followup books The Marriage Act and the Family Experiment. So so good.
You never lied when you said an audiobook can make or break a book. So true! And that goes for them books where the author don’t know when to put the pen down 😂 cuz baby I don’t got 400 pages for you lol
Just looked at my review that I wrote for The Nix back in 2019. I said “When a friend takes 5 hours to tell you a story that should have only taken 30 minutes.” 😂😂😂

All the singing has me crying laughing, you got a song for every book 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
6:10 "Gratitude, not acknowledgements" cracked me up. I also love your singing breaks lol
I just found your channel. I look forward to your 2025 book reviews! Happy New Year.
😂 this was a great video. It’s the singing for me 😂 loveeeed it.
Those musical breaks crack me up every time, you know all the songs. 😅
You had me at “525,600 minutes” 😂 Great list. I haven’t read any of these but I do have James on my shelf waiting to be read.
me singing along to every singing break
😂😂
"this year has been TRASH!" relatable king tbh because this year was absolute trash in reading and in life LOL. there were so few gems.
Isaac’s Song sounds amazing . You sold me on it. Btw, the singing breaks are so fun! 😂

Love this channel!!!
Loved the nix and I can agree that it could’ve been shorter 😂 Currently reading Good Dirt and I’m locked in.
Ishi Robinson is on my radar.
Thanks for sharing Sarai Johnson.
Happy New Year!
do you have a goodreads or fable account i could follow?
Can’t wait to read Isaac’s Song. I finished Don’t Cry For Me yesterday and really liked it.

I’d say read Don’t Cry For Me before Isaac’s Song.
Also I hope you enjoy James. It took me some time to get into it, but I really loved it.
Thanks! figured that would make the most sense. I’ll persevere with James 😊

I’m currently reading The Marriage Act and I’m already hooked lol
@@DezmondZ I am excited for you. Lot of characters as Marrs loves gives so many perspectives.
I was just looking at Good Dirt and wondering if I should add it to my list to read it
Happy New Year's
yay!😊
