This is the coaster that got me into coasters, so I love its sentimental value. Otherwise, I generally agree with you. One and done for me whenever I visit now

I have had multiple rides on this over the past 15 years. I actually think it's pretty underrated. I really like the layout as it encorporates a dive loop and double corkscrews in a small layout making for an intense ride.
It's impressive how much it has for a ride of its size.
I rode this a couple of times today and definitely enjoyed the outside seats the most, especially the right outside seat. You really feel that zero g roll the best in that seat. I also got a front seat ride and that was a game changer. I also highly suggest the single ride line!
Single rider line definitely helps on this one.

This was my first "big" roller coaster and I still love it. This thing is loved by GP. My GP friends find it to be one of their favorite rides.

It's a pretty consistent ride in most seats.
As my first B & M roller coaster, this is quite good. The first vertical loop provides some great hang time, the pre drop provides a pop of ejector air time, and the zero g roll is good. The interlocking corkscrews have some head banging, and the ride is quite short, but what it packs in is impressive.
I've never gotten that ejector pop you described.
@@CanobieCoaster I got it riding in the back, but I think it depends on how warmed up the ride is.
I keep my head out on batman, and by doing this it's smooth with the exception of the last two corkscrews I have batman ranked at #4 in the park as while it's fun, I like the intensity and slightly smoother experience on riddler.
It's crazy to think that the SLC is arguably smoother than a B&M.

@@CanobieCoaster I know a lot of people don't mind headbanging, but I do. I know it's crazy to think, but literally any other SLC (except maybe great noreaster) would be worse than batman
I think that the rattle is from natural age. B and M’s box track degrades much more easily than say RMC’s I-Box track or Intamin’s skeleton track
Bro that zero g roll looks amazing now that you point it out! I do love zero g rolls so I wouldn’t be surprised if I decently like this roller coaster!
The zero-G roll is the star.
This was my first big coaster and I adore this ride so much. It especially helps that Batman is my favorite superhero so I love the theme lol. I got front row on this last year during Fright Fest at night and that was so much fun! (also my first time in front row on a ride) Even though this ride is short, I feel like it's so underrated. I love that it makes you feel like you're actually flying.
It's a solid ride.
6:12 that’s the only reason why I now only ride this coaster during holiday in the park,when it’s time for Superman and Wicked Cyclone to be closed for the season

CANOBIE!!! My man... Love this ride. My first ever B&M sit down looper
It was one of my first floorless coasters.
I have it towards the middle of the pack of floorless coasters. I didn't get headbanging with it, by keeping my head forward. Since my visit was on light days at the park, we pretty much were able to pick our row, since all rows never got filled. I was able to do front and back a few times.
Nice! I've seen them strictly assign rows in peak season even on less busy days.
in my experience, the coaster has a noticeable rattle throughout the ride, not much up front but intensifies the further back you go in the train. The first corkscrew shakes significantly, and the second one has a borderline violent jerk at the apex that causes some headbanging.
Haven't had that issue, but I only ride it a few times per season at this point.
This ride I underated, not cause people hate on it but because it just never gets talked about. Sure I prefer the B&M Invert Batman clones but this is a really solid ride. Definitely #3 in the park and this is a mid to high tear floorless in my opinion. Batman TDK is like a B&M Invert Batman clone but as a floorless. 5 inversions, intense elements, and that great mix of positive Hs and whippyness butvstill keeping it smooth. Great layout for how compact it is too.
I just wish it was a bit snappier.
I know I mentioned this, but I rode this in the back row one time, and it was rough going into the corkscrews. It’s a very solid ride!
The corkscrew entry and exit is the only potential headbanger.
This is my home park I have never been on this coaster because the last time I went to six flags I was not tall enough now I am and I am going on it next time

I liked this ride. It obviously was not in the Superman/Wicked Cyclone stratum--as compact loopers go, I'd rank it just below Fahrenheit at Hersheypark, but above Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at Walt Disney World. But it's smooth and has forceful positive Gs on some of the inversions. I wore my pandemic mask on the ride and the positives were making it slip off my nose--that's my DIY accelerometer. I had no trouble with headbanging, but as a 5' 11" person I find that I often don't have problems with this on rides where others do.
The single-rider line is a thing of beauty! Reminds me of Canobie's Untamed, another ride with a single-rider line at the exit that few people ever use unless they are me.
Canobie discontinued Untamed's single rider line (for now at least).

The Batman was the first coaster at six flags back in 2005 that my brother ever rode and it was the first coaster that my son rode in 2021

I just rode this the other day in the back seat and it was really good, I found it more intense than the bigger floorless ones
I don't find it super intense, but it's solid.
I like that there isn't a mid course brake run.

So far the only rough B&M I’ve experienced is firebird at SixFlags America, but even that ride was tolerable for me. Heck, I’d consider Lost Gravity smooth!
Firebird is fine in back, but oddly bad up front.
My only complaints are
Too smooth no force
Would like to see B&M come up with new restraints for the floorless coasters

Nitro at Imagicaa seems like it's a version 2.0 of Batman: TDK--not an exact clone, but a slightly larger, faster refinement with a better first drop (the twist is lower down) and an added helix. But the starting point for the layout was definitely a mirror image of SFNE's Batman.
Nitro's drop really looks intriguing.
I wish B&M would add their new restraints to their old floorless coasters. The old-school shoulder restraints are getting painful on these things.
I'm not sure if the new trains are wider and impact clearances.
@CanobieCoaster maybe the floorless trains warrent a total rework. Dominator (formerly Batman Knightflight) has been my favorite coaster since I was a kid but it boxes your ears two or three times in the layout.
This last weekend, I was here and there was a new sign at the station that said wait to right for front row. The ride op sticks you to the side and you have to wait one or two cycles to get the front. I never noticed that before so It must be new.

Nice review I think that they should have took this and cloned it at six flags st Louis and over Texas sence there missing on the track loopers
sfot has shockwave and sfstl has ninja, but they could both use a modern looper tbh
@@lukestange well shockwave only has 2 loops so I dont count that as a on the track multilooper but I count ninja so yea I can see that

This layout could work in a lot of parks.
I thought this coaster was just okay. It was very intense, but I got a lot of head banging on the interlocking corkscrews and the ride certainly has a rattle. However I only rode once in the second to front row so maybe when I get back to New England I'll try it in a different row.
It's a decent ride.
I think Batman the dark knight has the best zero G roll of any b&m Looper (well other than kumba)
I love how floaty it is.

The B&M Floorless Hot Wheels Nitro looks so odd
That drop looks nuts.
Maybe its the fact that this park has one of the best 1-2 punches maybe its because its one of the weaker floorlesses or that its at a mediocre six flags park
I think it's a mid-tier Six Flags park. I agree the coaster lineup drops off mightily after the top 2.
