This is one of the most touching love stories I have ever encountered. Kerrigan knew she will not be able to reunite with Jim anymore and the last few words she said was "Thank you Jim... for everything." And Jim responded by saying, "My pleasure, Daring, it always was", meaning Jim still loves her dearly and he probably won't have the chance to help her anymore and thus the use of "was". I have tears in my eyes now.......I really hope they will make of movie for this trilogy, I don't see why not.

If he was real he would shit on chuck norris and everyone else, i mean, whenever u mention him all i can think of are badass entries, replies or one-liners. Even his name is freakin badass :|
Yeah, however, the zerg are not responsible for turning Kerigan in to the queen of blades, it was Mengsk. Living her for dead was not the plan,so I said this means revenge, and after 5 years I can say that my thirst for revenge has come to an end
CodGaz4 that part was actually Mengsk's Revenge for the assassination of his family at the hands of Kerrigan (and other 2 ghosts) when she was still a Confederate Ghost, so both were seeking Revenge against each other.
Honestly in brood war arcturus was already laid low by Kerrigan, not even just once, but twice, arguably even three times over he was laid low by her over the course of the Terran & Zerg Campaign in Brood War, she *got* her revenge and in a way that she knew would torment Arcturus far more than just killing him, undermining his power structure and making him feel vulnerable when he thought he held all the cards. The writers of SC2 completely forgot, or more likely didn't care about Kerrigans characterisation in SC1 & Brood War so they could write their corny soap-opera that hit all the same beats as SC1 & Brood War but worse in most cases.
So who was stupider, Kerrigan for not doing the math and realizing that if Valerian didn't have the artifact then there's really only one place it could be, or Mengsk for having a weapon the player knows from personal experience can instantly destroy thousands of Zerg and render Kerrigan helpless but never bothering to use it until she's three feet away (and even then apparently on some kind of Low setting)? ...the answer is Mengsk. But it's pretty close.
Get it together, people. Starcraft 1 was a story of hopes and shattered dreams, of death and struggle to survive. Starcraft 2 was a story of heroism, love, and absolute determination to give up anything for your goals. They are DIFFERENT kinds of stories, okay? When you think about it, neither was very original, but strongly presented. That's enough for me. I enjoyed it. I felt engrossed. I wanted to see the end. To get there. And so I did. And I'm damn happy about it, and proud to close the chapter on a really great game. So quit nostalgia aching in your bellies and try to see a story for what it is, not for what it "have" to live up to.
And that is basically the reason why I love sc2 more. The ending to both WOL and HOTS always puts a lump in my throat from all the emotion and reflection from all those years of seeing what these characters have gone through.
And I think that it's for the best that they took that approach so far. After sitting on the depressing ending that was Brood Wars (that left major questions unanswered) for around 12 years it's welcome to come back and see this story where the characters might, just might pull through and earn a happy ending. This series I think is a nice counterbalance to Brood Wars, juxtaposing the black night that was the Queen of Blade's triumph to the (hopefully) dawn of something better. Heck, Wings of Liberty the title probably referenced Raynor being Kerrigan's wings that would liberate her from the Zerg's control. And Heart of the Swarm probably referenced how Kerrigan is now the leader of the Swarm again, but she still has her heart intact this time. Who knows what Legacy of the Void is going to be a reference to.
Luxai Seems to me that Starcraft 2 has basically been around cleaning up the mess left after Starcraft 1, tying up loose ends and whatnot. Queen-Bitch Kerrigan FINALLY flubs a dodge against that laser-guided Karma-nuke, Arcturus finally gets his comeuppance, humanity finally gets some hope for a DECENT ruler in Valerian, Legacy of the Void will apparently have the Protoss taking Aiur back, we've had a whole bunch of setup for taking down Amon (granted, not an old plot/character), Narud/Duran got smacked down... there's a lot of cleanup of old plot points/characters going on.
Luxai Well, announcing Kerrigan to be an unredeemable ass who redeemed with the lamest excuse ever was not the best idea. In brood war her excuse was the control of the overmind, so people allied with her, just being screwed. Now, her excuse is the "influence of Amon".
Why did Arcturus say "I made you into a monster, Kerrigan"? Clearly, we all know that. Everyone who played Brood War and the OG game knows that. Kerrigan knows that. Everyobody that saw the scene, form inside or outside knows it.
3:33 to 3:58 is probably one of the sweetest things I've seen in my life. Jim saw Kerrigan become a monster, a murderer, a tyrant, and he still loved her.
Behold it, this is the greatest sci-fi story ever made. Every character is awesome, the events, the actions and relationships, is really brillant. Congratulations Blizzard, I can't wait for Legacy of thje Void.
Not sure if serious. SC1: "Fellow Terrans, I come to you in the wake of recent events to issue a call to reason. Let no human deny the perils of our time. While we battle one another, divided by the petty strife of our common history, the tide of a greater conflict is turning against us, threatening to destroy all that we have accomplished. It is time for us as nations and as individuals to set aside our long-standing feuds and unite. The tides of an unwinnable war are upon us, and we must seek refuge on higher ground, lest we be swept away by the flood. The Confederacy is no more! Whatever symbols of unity and protection it once provided is a phantom, a memory. With our enemies left unchecked, who will you turn to for protection? The devastation brought by the alien invaders is self-evident. We have seen our homes and villages destroyed by the calculated blows of the Protoss. We have seen first hand our friends and loved ones consumed by the nightmarish Zerg. Unprecedented and unimaginable though they may be, these are the signs of our time. The time has come, my fellow Terrans, to rally to a new banner. In unity lies strength; already many of the dissident factions have joined us. Out of the many we shall forge an indivisible whole capitulating only to a single throne, and from that throne I shall watch over you. From this day forward let no human make war upon any other human, let no Terran agency conspire against this new beginning, and let no man consort with alien powers, and to all the enemies of humanity: seek not to bar our way, for we shall win through, no matter the cost!" SC2: "You will...DIE! Metzen and his entire team need to be fired.
gradius12 The one thing that can't be argued with is that the animation and voice acting is absolutely perfect. The facial expressions of Kerrigan and Raynor at the end were inspired.
***** welp, in the Zerg campaign in Brood War, you get to played as Zeratul, uncovering a lab breeding Hybrid by Dr Narud ( or Duran - Narud in reverse - in the Brood War ). From then onward Zeratul "travelling in solitude seeking answers" in WoL afterwards and we see the hybrid continuation in this one.. Sadly I have to tell you. Brood War has a lot to do with what's going on in SC2. They probably planned all of Starcraft II (WoL, HotS and LotV) while making brood war, if not even before brood war. I don't get what you guys are arrgueing about but... when you're at war constantly and without time to breath, you won't talk about past batlles. Brood war was not a single war, but constants and numerous battle between the three races. After brood war, Mengsk has to deal with the combine something as well as Raynor's Raiders, there are many others battle between the three race in spin off games and novels as well.
The hurt little girl part initially bothered me, but then I realized the purpose of Raynor saving her was to show that there is still a deep connection between them. Kerrigan still shows Mengsk no mercy, she still lead the invasion that made it all possible and allowed the Terrans to oust a tyrant, and she was still completely ruthless and badass throughout the story. I adore the feelings held between Raynor and Kerrigan. In retrospect, I'm actually very glad he came to her aid in the ending.
the problem with villain like Mengsk is that if they want to kill the protagonist then just do it, don't just stand there and talk about it, or else there will be... like Jimmy boy said "changed of plan"
Looking back at the leaked version, it's clearly inspired from one famous music of Two Steps From Hell, because it's precisely the one they were using as place holder! x)
1:12 - 1:30, her face went from overconfident to terrified, lol. the problem with her is that she never learn from her mistakes. she always barged in alone to the enemy's main base, ended up defeated and almost getting killed, then get rescued by her zerlings or friends. she even so confident after become the primal zerg and trying to kill Zulvan by herself. that's probably what he was planning all along, Zulvan was the strongest before and surely will succeed defeating and consuming her if she didn't get help by her zergling she found along the way. blind confident will get you nowhere, folks
Nice literary feature they had there too. In WoL, Jim was like a parent carrying a newborn in his arms bringing her back in the fold. In this cycle he offers her up to the freedom/independence that is her birthright, much like a father releasing his all-grown up child. So it's Jim who brings her into the world, and it's Jim who frees her(and the zerg). A little full-circle moment I really liked about this.
Props to Mengsk for being unbelievably prepared, but, why the HELL didn't he use that earlier?! "Oh Zerg making landfall on my planet? Xel'Naga shockwave suckers!!"
Hell of a gamble to stay behind alone in your office and expect Kerrigan to come face you, as opposed to blowing up the whole building, also alone, so you can use your one single trump card with no plan b.
Don't know why people complain about the story of SCII, it's awesome and for once the characters are mostly pretty good, which is rare as fuck. Okay, the "I am the swarm"-thing tends to get a bit annoying at times, but apart from that, it's really fine.
Arcturus Mengsk getting killed off was the happiest moment of my life! The man had turned into such a complete monster that, frankly, the setting is a better place without him! (Relieved)
If there is one thing I miss from Starcraft 1, it would be that the campaign would let you play the villain from time to time. I would love a Mengsk campaign.
Maybe at the ending of Legacy of the Void,Sarah will rebecome human, this time for good, with the help of the Protoss. The command of the Swarm can pass then to Zagara, while Kerrigan and Raynor will happily live ever after.I know,it may sound cheesy, but in a world where all you see is stupid plot twists,I sincerely prefer a classic, cheesy happy ending than a surprinsigly and abismally stupid plot twist ending.
@@Duckzilla-54 Hard to say she is human again. She became a Xel'Naga goddess. Yes, she can turn human anytime, but she has ascended into a superior beign.
I love how people bitch that kerrigan isn't the same any more. No shit, idiots! It's called character development! Kerrigan needed to evolve past queen bitch of the universe to truly harness her full potential. She under goes this change mentally and physically and yet people still manage to fuck this up! Does Heart of the Swarm have it's problems? Yes! But what it does right far outweighs everything it does wrong.
Pitalla Thought wrong since I have played the original Star Craft and Brood War. People have gotten so mixed up in what they think is right way for things to progress and get mad when it doesn't. However I'm not going to say WoL and HotS don't have some cases of terrible writing, they do.
Pitalla Pretty sure as long as Mengsk dies and Kerrigan got to see it first hand, that she wouldn't care too much. Aside from that she has done a ton of terrible things even purified so I don't see how much different she is than before. The biggest change is she actually shows some remorse for her actions whereas the Queen of Blades was an unrepentant bitch with a chronic backstabbing disorder. Plus retribution is kinda moot considering she's likely going to die in battle against Amon. Still as I said before there are some cases of just terrible writing.
Pitalla I always figured her hatred and anger for Mengsk was something that was burned into her mind when he left her for dead when it benefited him to leave her behind. I imagine killing him was probably her only way to get some closure.
Pitalla Oh believe me, I know it has bad writing. Spent the weekend playing throw WoL and HoS again and they really stood out. For example why would Kerrigan never ask Stukpv to take out the temples empowering Narud/Duran? There are lines that could have been much more effective if the writers hadn't hamhanded it. Like, again with Narud, after Kerrigan stabs it, if Narud had just said "Amon lives" it would have been more effective than tacking on "He will see you soon". That just makes me think of a Secretary talking to Kerrigan saying "Mr. Amon will see you now." Also the whole final cinematic show down with Mengsk. In the leaked version it was clear that there was something implanted in Kerrigan of terran origin that was shocking Kerrigan (hence why her hands flew to her head) which was the insurance policy Arcturus was talking about. That made perfect sense. But somewhere along the line, someone remembered the Xel'Naga artifact and crow-bared it in and didn't even bother changing the dialogue to fit it better. Still with all those faults, I still find HoS to be a step up from WoL's schizophrenic story-telling and pacing.
Pitalla she knew she'll never be at peace as long as mengsk is alive (in fact she did say this). Right before she was able to touch Jim, Mengsk sent a strike force to kill them both... When Sarah finds out Jim was alive, she's too deep in the road to stop. With Jim's in open revolution against the Dominion, there's no happy ending if Mengsk still reigns. And there's the Final War againsts Amon to be speaking of. Which I predict would need collabertion of the whole 3 race. And please, when did Sarah "avenged Mengsk" in brood war ? All she did that resembling doing harm to Mengsk was killing his general Duke. She even gave Mengsk back Korhal from the UED. That's more of a favor than vengence to me. The only person Sarah "avenged" in Brood war ... was Zeratul... who never even touched her and does a lot of favor for her (lol what the hell). Still she said "this is a fitting revenge" or something after she has him killed his Matriarch. (Shakespear material right there)
What's the name of the song starting at 3:10 when kerrigan starts to fly away. It feels nostalgic. I think I may have heard it from the ending of another movie.
And to add more irony, Kerrigan killed Mengsk father before Starcraft and Brood War's present timeline. And ended with Mengsk himself being killed by the same woman who killed his dad.
Hey I've always wondered this and if someone can give me an answer it'd be appreciated but during the battle at the end of HotS why didn't mengsk use the xel'naga artefact like raynor did in the final mission of WoL, that energy pulse killed almost every zerg unit in a huge area and transformed Kerrigan back into being a human, I know the answer is game balance but it seems like such a huge advantage to not use in battle.
AKartashev I'm glad they changed it though. It makes more sense that he managed to get his hands on the xel'naga artifact than it does that he had an opportunity to plant something in her like that. The only time he could have really done it was back when she originally started working for him... seems stupid for him to have kept and not used a weapon like that for so long.
It was one of the Starcraft books, but I don't remember the name. You can look up Kerrigan's page on the Starcraft wiki and it clearly states that she killed Mengsk's family along with the other ghosts.
IMO, the little trap with the artifact to way too long to deploy. If Kerrigan had, pardon the expression, Zergrushed him, as soon as he turned around then this would have been a much shorter cinematic.
He knew she would savor the moment. Find me anyone who doesn't when there is so much revenge and hatred building up to the moment. He's a clever bastard.
I don't get all the hate towards the SC2 story line. This is the end of the saga... the thing people always talk about (why they loved sc1 I mean) is how there was all these new things and the story just kept getting bigger and bigger and more and more epic! Yeah that's great but this is a climax and aftermath game. Would you prefer they build it up more then never finish the story? Because honestly... I wouldn't. I think the story is pretty solid.
(Spoilers form begining to end)Not really when you think about it. Hybrids were mention in Brood war for the first time and HotS ending is very similar to the ending of the Brood war. Blizzard wasted two campaigns to establish what we already new from previous game. The difference is; Starcraft 1 was very serious. Soldiers and civilians were dying because of calculations and bigger plans. Starcraft 2 decided to make Epic heroic story (very similar to Warcraft 3 and WoW theme by the way) instead of depressing realistic one. Whole HotS is story about getting revange. Really bad one when you remind yourself that of all people betrayed in SC1 Kerrigan suppose to be the liest sympathetic. Kerrigan was left for dead. Ok, but Mengsks family was killed by her, after that she killed many Raynors people... and betrayed Protoss... twice... In this expansion she killed Warfield not because of bigger plan or danger... she killed him because she was angry. Whole story doesn't work at original dark theme and new lighter tone Blizzard choose for new game.
Franciszek Rychlewicz Yes, the tone is different but the only way to have started closing out the story and kept that same tone would have been to kill off the major characters and end it with the Zerg overrunning everyone and the Hybrids successfully taking over. I mean, bad endings CAN work but they are few and far between good (Example Wolf's Rain). To say that this story is retcon or that the character development is nonexistant (majority of complaints against it) is foolhardy and poorly thought out is all I'm saying.
Due to poor writing. The fact they didn't try to preserve Mengsk was a pleasant surprise. Since WC3, Blizz have been going down a bad path. Warcraft 2 and Starcraft 1 had suitably silly and serious moments, but now, we have an excess of silly edgelording for the sake of it. I will give the writers some credit, they didn't completely kill their games for me.
In case anyone forgot, Mengsk was at Kerrigan's mercy numerous times during Brood War, but like she did with Jim and Zeratul numerous times, she lets him go just for fun. Strange how this 'new' Kerrigan is allegedly more in touch with her humanity.
I think it is pretty interesting to have this thin line between good and evil. It shows us that same people that are good at some point of history can be bad at another point, and vice-versa.
Noo! Again a bad guy wasted too much time talking! I don't believe in such final, it's so predictable! And Kerrigan is way too confident. I think it could be more interesting, if the energy of ordinary Queen of Blades wasn't enough for waking up Amon, but it was saved in the artifact. But the total energy of both ordinary and primal queens was finally enough. And so, Mengsk was succesfull in making Kerrigan human once again. He tried to kill her with a gun, but was interrupted or killed by Rainor, or by the energy splash from the artifact, that starts to transfer energy to a group of hybrids\taldarim, hidden in the dungeons beneath the palace, or, better - staying on another planet, and they finally wake their god. Rainor carries Kerrigan's body away once again.
WolfHead0207 If I have a dollar for everytime a "Blizzard fan," bitch about how Blizzard is fucking things up, I'd be a millionaire. Stop your whining and go back to playing the classics if it'll make you feel better.
Like the other guy said, what are you talking about? this ending is perfect!, its everything any original Starcraft fan could ask for......closure to Kerrigan and Jimmy Raynor's never-ending crusades of liberation and revenge. If you've truly played the game you'd understand that the entire Zerg race were not made into the defenders of the galaxy, just that specific colony. Plus they technically left that system of planets to go into "the unknown void" They only continued to leave the Terran's colonies alone after this because Kerrigan tells them to do so(no longer controlled by the zerg overminds influence). She has complete control over that specific zerg colony's consciousness because they still recognize her has their true queen. There still enemy Zerg colonies out there! That and the "hybrids" which I'm sure the final game will focus heavily on.
The Rabbid First dont talk like if you were the entire fan community. I've played from starcraft 1 up to brood war, starcraft 2 and even playing this garbage of an expansion and most of the people i know agree with me that the whole HoTS was wrong, they should've left Kerrigan as a human or have Tychus kill her. It was seriously god damn pathetic. Making Kerrigan become the Queen of Blades again from the actual game up to the expansion showed up the lack of imagination Blizzard has lately. Its like they started a story they dont know how to finish. So we could've had a Zerg campaign about the Zerg avenging Kerrigan after being killed by Tychus making that colony as you describe it go wild and wiping entire planets because the lack of leadership as a new Zerg intelligent figure shows up to take the reins, Raynor having a hard time trying to get over Kerrigan's death and focusing his efforts to Mengsk, fighting for the good of the Terran race (of course having success). Having this new Zerg leader to conquer all Zerg colonies and making them evolve as a faction. And then get to Legacy of the Void. (For the Kerrigan alive variant in similar way but the Zerg not recognizing her as the leader anymore.) But Blizzard said "Nah lets make Kerrigan go back as the insect bitch while she becomes the superhero of the galaxy, showing vagina power everywhere arround" similar to what they did to Sylvanas in World of Warcraft.

I fucking cried. That is such a great tragic love story beyond that politics, wars, spaceships, I am fucking done, Blizzard, youve got my heart.
Blazieth Yep, that was the point of the story.
Luxai Well, announcing Kerrigan to be an unredeemable ass who redeemed with the lamest excuse ever was not the best idea. In brood war her excuse was the control of the overmind, so people allied with her, just being screwed. Now, her excuse is the "influence of Amon".
This ending always be bringing a tear to my eye I swear!
Always was
Kerrigan really blew his mind.
I don't care about the game, but I can watch those cinematics all day and just cry
And I still want the last damn expansion to be those two getting together, even if its if they both die. Raynor and Kerrigan all the way!

+Elias “Ikan” SpellPiper How is not seeing someone's nature and being blinded by love "sweet".
Just thought of this 10 years later
Jim finally gave up his angry face and smiled.
How do you sneak up on someone when wearing massive power armor?
I guess he was using fallout's stealth mechanics.
Well wouldn't you be a bit distracted in Mengsk's position?
Mengsk was a bit busy being a giant asshole to his former right hand. Also, Raynor needed a bit of plot armor to help his girlfriend.
I guess it's because Kerrigan's forces already did the job so he could sneak up easily.
He put it on right outside the door
Behold it, this is the greatest sci-fi story ever made. Every character is awesome, the events, the actions and relationships, is really brillant.
Congratulations Blizzard, I can't wait for Legacy of thje Void.
Totally agreed!
Not sure if serious.
SC1:
"Fellow Terrans, I come to you in the wake of recent events to issue a call to reason.
From this day forward let no human make war upon any other human, let no Terran agency conspire against this new beginning, and let no man consort with alien powers, and to all the enemies of humanity: seek not to bar our way, for we shall win through, no matter the cost!"
SC2:
"You will...DIE!
Metzen and his entire team need to be fired.

The one thing that can't be argued with is that the animation and voice acting is absolutely perfect.
But this isn't Warhammer 40k
The hurt little girl part initially bothered me, but then I realized the purpose of Raynor saving her was to show that there is still a deep connection between them. Kerrigan still shows Mengsk no mercy, she still lead the invasion that made it all possible and allowed the Terrans to oust a tyrant, and she was still completely ruthless and badass throughout the story.
I adore the feelings held between Raynor and Kerrigan. In retrospect, I'm actually very glad he came to her aid in the ending.
That "I am the Swarm" line still gives me the goosebumps
the problem with villain like Mengsk is that if they want to kill the protagonist then just do it, don't just stand there and talk about it, or else there will be... like Jimmy boy said "changed of plan"
Its a thrope in movies, thats Why.
Thank you Blizzard...for everything....
My pleasure Michal.....always was.....
I've been playing this game since it's original release date. Goodbye to a considerable portion of my childhood. Tears were shed.
2:05 - 2:18
Such an awesome scene! Love the music in the background as well it fits so well
Looking back at the leaked version, it's clearly inspired from one famous music of Two Steps From Hell, because it's precisely the one they were using as place holder! x)
so blizzard better make a brood war 2, the UED must return, shit even infested Stukov theorized their return.
that would probably be a plot for starcraft 3
where did the viking pilot go after kerrigan blasted right through the cockpit
Legions Typhoon Everywhere
I want a wallpaper pic of 4:01 so bad, but I cant find one anywhere.

Props to Mengsk for being unbelievably prepared, but, why the HELL didn't he use that earlier?! "Oh Zerg making landfall on my planet? Xel'Naga shockwave suckers!!"
Damn the ending really breaks my heart. Great job on the CGI blizzard, the emotion is so real!
I only just noticed that Raynor's suit only starts making sound once he enters the scene. He really should have been audible ages away.
"I've made you into a monster, Kerrigan!"
"... You've made us all into monsters."
Her monologue from 4:18 onwards always gives me the goosebumps. I love it to bits.
Arcturus Mengsk getting killed off was the happiest moment of my life! The man had turned into such a complete monster that, frankly, the setting is a better place without him! (Relieved)
dang straight!
If there is one thing I miss from Starcraft 1, it would be that the campaign would let you play the villain from time to time. I would love a Mengsk campaign.
Hopefully Jim can finally move on.

It's heartbreaking never being able to save her.
Does anyone know what's the track's name when Kerrigan flies away?
Darude - Sandstorm
"Ascension" - Neal Acree
Sad to see him go... I'm gonna miss that voice.
Who?
PARAMOTH mengsk
3:10 Does anyone know what the song is called when Kerrigan leaves Jim? I can't seem to find it among the OST's.
The song is called "Ascension". It's 5 minutes long (the soundtrack from this entire clip is, as a matter of fact, that very same song).
Jesus I thought she was going to commit suicide at the end there...
Amon is the xelnaga(the protoss gods) who created the zerg and he has been brought back to life so kerrigan has to kill him now
Kerrigan and Jim’s lovestory is one of the most tragic and beautiful ever made.
Personally always felt their love-story is the best I've ever witnessed. Tragic as absolute sin, but so incredibly beautiful as well.
@@Scarface39212 They still got together in the end.
i know Confederate ghosts killed mengsk's family but where did u find that kerrigan was one of them?? just curious
I fucking love heart of the swarm, great story campaign
chills when she says I will not face this enemy alone, I AM THE SWARM
Amon will see you now."
Also the whole final cinematic show down with Mengsk.
(Shakespear material right there)
this video's concept sketch was leaked 2 or 3 years ago. no one believed it to be true.
but here we are
this gives me goosebumps
What's the name of the song starting at 3:10 when kerrigan starts to fly away. It feels nostalgic. I think I may have heard it from the ending of another movie.
goddamn, I FUCKIN LOVE KERRIGANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
And to add more irony, Kerrigan killed Mengsk father before Starcraft and Brood War's present timeline.
And ended with Mengsk himself being killed by the same woman who killed his dad.
Arcturus: "Don't you _dare_ judge me, you wretched monstrosity! Take your bloody vengeance and choke on the ashes!"
I don't get why she even let him set that weapon up. she had plenty of time to take him out before he even activated it.
They have changed the ending actually. In the leaked version Mengsk triggers some kind of device in her brain.
The wolf is the Mengsk family symbol.
if they had money to make cinematic like this why didnt make a movie like this
It was one of the Starcraft books, but I don't remember the name.
Can someone please tell me the name of the soundtrack that starts from the minute 3:20?
The only drawback of zerg race: they have lots of bugs ;)
get out.
bro its 6 years later, buti hope your humour changed
Jim Raynor. Saving the day since 1998.
What track on the OST has the music from this cutscene? It's certainly not He Had It Coming (which would've made sense).
*tear* every damn time
In case anyone forgot, Mengsk was at Kerrigan's mercy numerous times during Brood War, but like she did with Jim and Zeratul numerous times, she lets him go just for fun. Strange how this 'new' Kerrigan is allegedly more in touch with her humanity.
Jim always loved her
when jim drops both helmet visors, the badass can be felt through the screen
Mengsk : best char in SC
Yeah he isn't bad (he is but you know what I mean) but he is a bit waaaay behind Raynor, Kerrigan, Zeratul, Fenix(only mentioned in SC2) and Tassadar.
Damn the ending really take my tears. When she said thank you jim and fly away make my heart broken.
bring back warcraft ..... Night elf FTW !!
Awesome, you should write a book and send a copy to Blizzard.
Yes, but How is Human Kerri going to stop amon? its HER destiny to STOP an invincible god with limited powers and the help of the whole Koprulu sector

WolfHead0207 i enjoyed diablo 3 the most. seriously
"I made you into a monster KERRI-GEN." 10/10 voice acting.
Im going to pretend HotS never happend, its ridiculous
Why? It follows the story from the classic StarCraft.
Andrés A. No, this is going too far. Blizzard making the Zerg the defenders of the galaxy is bullshit.
That was a different swarm. When Kerrigan was evil, when she was under the control of the Overmind.
The Rabbid
First dont talk like if you were the entire fan community.
(For the Kerrigan alive variant in similar way but the Zerg not recognizing her as the leader anymore.)
But Blizzard said "Nah lets make Kerrigan go back as the insect bitch while she becomes the superhero of the galaxy, showing vagina power everywhere arround" similar to what they did to Sylvanas in World of Warcraft.
I watch this cinematic at least once per three days. I'm always crying at the end. Ending is so fucking beautiful with this music. Love you blizzard!
