I've been riding my nephew's 3 year old Jupiter for 3 months now.. and I have decided to buy it for myself. Great riding experience and getting 50 kmpl in Bangalore terrible traffic. Happy with everything about this scooter. Great bike from TVS.

I use both Activa and Jupiter, I agree with the point that activa's engine is smoother but the vibration is more on activa and not on the Jupiter.
I bought this TVS jupiter classic (stylish transparent white wind shield; Ivory color) 2 years ago & I loved it; also i would like to recommend this unique made in India Scooter for others too.
Forget Activa go for Jupiter #MadeInIndia

This channel deserves much more subscribers. The anchoring part was good, but try to keep all the videos under 5 mins, because people lose patience after that.

Silencer plate cover is steel not chrome. And sync braking system works only if both front and rear are both drum. So this does not applies on classic variant. also the chrome or steel parts finish on mirror ,windshield or muffler guard can get rusted over time.
Now switch your eyes to entorque.

How would you rate this with the Grazia? Especially on ride comfort, on long distances as well. The external fuel filler does score over it.
+krackr808 thanks. The Grazia is also a very comfortable scooter. However, it feels slightly wobbly at higher speeds. Jupiter feels stable even at its top speed. So while comfort at city speeds is similar, the Jupiter scores in the handling department

Very nice review sir. Could you please suggest between Jupiter & Hero Duet, which could be the best choice? Also, how is the Jupiter's maintenance compared to Hero Duet? Which should buy between these two? Or plz suggest any other option if available better than these two.
Jupiter and activa are the competitors but Honda should add disc brake to activa . Suspension is good in Jupiter and classic edition is nice
How is Tvs Jupiter compared to Access 125 in term of comfort, refinement, low vibrations and handling?
It's seat height is more. It's also very refined and very practical. More fuel efficient and economical too. The Access has more power though

I have both scooters in my cousin's house Jupiter and Activa 4g
The thing Jupiter over takes is the ride quality smoothness and main very very important thing is suspension setup is so soft than active that you will hardly feel fatigued in city condition...

Rahul Bhattacharya: I got both the Activa and the classic. When I drove them back to back, I felt that the Jupiter was very comfortable and smooth. Especially the way it rides over bad roads is simply fantastic. The Activia is simply a blast to drive. The engine is very very peppy. But the ride is very bad. Maybe because of the stone age suspension and the 10 inch tyres. The Activia is 5 years old and and Jupiter we bought it 2 months back. If you drive a Activa and then ride Jupiter, you'll feel its a bit sluggish but very comfortable. This was just my observation. Ride safe, Cheers!! ✌️😉

Rahul Bhattacharya: My sister owns the Activia and I gifted my dad the Jupiter. Never got the chance to check the meilage bro as they live in my home town. I'll give you the exact details, but its gonna take some time as I can check them only next time I go there.

Jupiter is far more comfortable than Activa. Mileage is at least 50+ even (3 year old bike) in Bangalore's terrible traffic.

Hi. I have few questions. I have buy a new TVS Jupiter BS4 and have runned 650 Kms.
Q1. Which transmission/gear oil brand with specification should I used for my TVS Jupiter?
Q2. Is it safe to use TVS Jupiter's engine oil into Transmission as a Transmission/Gear oil ?
Both TVS Jupiter Manual and service centre guys recommended to use only the TVS TRU4 Premium Semi-Synthetic engine oil (SAE-10W30 API-SL, JASO-MA2) into the transmission as a gear oil.
But according to outside mechanic and also online forums it is recommended to use SAE-90 Gear oil for Transmission of gearless scooters. What should I do?
Q3. I feel some metal friction sound coming from gears of rear tyres at speed of 40 to 60kmph mostly with pillion or sometimes without pillion. Jupiter run 650 kms and also 1st service is done few days ago. They used the engine oil into the transmission as a gear oil. They said that this problem will gone after 5000kms. But I don't think so.
Why I got this problem and what is the solution?

I live in small town.. 10 Km away from Roorkee. trust me if you got quality Service center.. this scooter rocks...
After 2 services this scooter use to sucks....due to foolish service guys...But when service is done in roorkee, they did so awesome..that i feel like new...

Are you sure that Jupiter Classic with Disc Brake have also Sync braking system (combi brakes) ? I think you are wrong!
You are right. The SBS is available only on drum brake variants - that's a bit of an error on our part. Thanks for pointing it out. We will try to fix it, although it's difficult to do it on a video that's already live on RUclips. Keep writing!

Wishing your sister a very happy birthday. The Jupiter is a male-oriented scooter. While its a great scoot, the seat height can be an issue for your sister, unless she's pretty tall. Activa 5G is a decent choice too, just that it misses out on telescopic front suspension. You should also take the Scooty Zest into consideration

This is a tough question. I can still see a 10 yr old activa on roads . Honda is known for its butter smooth engine. I do understand the suspension is horrible. But apart from that honda rocks . My activa now 30000kms over still goes butter smooth.
Jupiter and activa both r good scooters. If u need good front shocks go for jupiter. If u can compromise on suspension and need a long run butter smooth engine then go for activa.
