Activa' s engine is the best. But I have my Jupiter std, only three years old clocked only 27000kms is still a butter smooth engine.
As I'm owning the activa 5g such a worst scooty suspensions are very worst quality is worst guys plz stop showing love towards that activa because of that they are not giving a telescopic suspension and incresing the price. Jupiter is the best❤️
exactly bro. the activa is worst scooter ever. when 4G launched, i thought to buy it but when i saw its same as my 3G, i dropped my plan then they launched 4G then i found that there is not much differences between 4G & 5G. i mean same 10 inches tires, same suspension, same design, same engine.
@@jithinghanto5054 but mileage ?? I Booked Ntorq nd now I've kept it on hold just because of mileage which is about 40 kmpl in Ntorq and Jupiter gives 45 to 48 kmpl so that's my concern. Another dielema is Ntorq sounds best and feature rich but Jupiter is just practical than that of a fancy bit
I have purchased Jupiter Grande disc a week ago, suspension is superb... While riding with pillion feels a bit more stable on road in my opinion may be this is because of the extra weight. Very good product from TVS.
I'm here to share my (my dad) experience with the jupiter my dad bought this scooter at 2014 the very first batch of jupiter...after four years it till response like a champ.....at December 2015 here in chennai, Tamil Nadu there is a heavy flood and scooter is drowned completely (where i can see only the mirror of the scooter 😂) we repaired it and after some day again flood and again the scooter drowned till the Jupiter emposed side panel(engine is fully under the water for 1.5days) and we repaired it and trust me guys there is no major issue in engine.....after that till now the scooter's odometer is reset after 1,00,000kms and now it again clocked at around 40,000kms (this is because my dad take the scooter daily for his dress business so the scooter will cover around 80kms per day) and trust me guys the scooter is still working like a champ .....whenever i take this scooter out for spin it wants you to rev hard it can easily Cruise around 60km-65km easily and u feel that there is still lot of power to extract ...till now the scooter can easily go upto 85kmph ........so based on my experience TVS has thrown everything into it to make it a best scooter and a rival for activa ......(but i also ridden Activa it is my Aunt scooter the initial pickup of Activa is too good which Jupiter loss but Jupiter has higher topspeed and topspeed stability where the Acitva wobbles at 85kmph) so based on my experience with Jupiter.It is a gem ...if u do the periodic service the engine will lost longer as Honda's engine ......i hope it will help u guys .. thank you🙏

I have crossed 110000 kms on Honda aviator and it's still running in a good condition. I doubt if Honda is still making engines of such quality. I own a Jupiter as well and it's definitely better than today's Honda activa !!!

I'm proud to say that I own TVS Jupiter..... The ride and comfort quality is awesome... One more thing to be noted is the kicker of Jupiter ,I mean we can start it by sitting on the scooter where as we need to keep stand and kick for the rest of scooters.
I have 2nd generation activa which is 35K run. I had half engine done. Otherwise no issue till date. But new 5g owners are prone to problems, gone is that previous built quality of Honda. Jupiter is liked by all the Mechanics 😋
Intially i am an activa lover, but my brother bought me jupiter classic,what a scooty it is simply amazing with its suspension,intail pickup was slow but later it's pick up is amazing , i am travelling from Hyderabad to khammam with ease on my classic comfortably, it's space is high compare to activa , tvs brought a great product with affordable price.so one can easily go for jupiter.defently soon you will fall in love with jupiter..
Hello Dino Bhai I owned both activa and Jupiter Main difference what you also mentioned initial torque of Activa little good which make it easy even with pillion on small uphill drive. On other side Jupiter is more like sports bike once you surpass 40 50 speed mark it run like water. Riding fun is more on Jupiter because of Tyre size and suspension setup.
*I already own TVS Jupiter Classic edition. It's a treat to drive, when it comes to comfort. I have also driven Activa 3G when I visited my cousin. It was pathetic, I don't know why people in India buy Honda Activa blindly*
When i was in 5th class my dad bought Activa 3g Nd we used it for 2years Nd after that when im in 7th class my dad bought 4g Nd we used it for 2years Nd after that when im in 9th class my dad bought 5g Nd we used it for 2years Nd This year We Bought Again The Legendary Activa 6G.... I bought a Jupiter ZX in October and have been riding it daily. my sister in law owns an Activa 4G and I have used it pretty much a lot. there is only one problem in Jupiter- it has starting problem if u don't use it for even 1 day but just use choke and it will work immediately. other than this Jupiter is way better than Activa- looks;Graphics;feel of drive; stability on the road at top speed (both hit 90-95 KMph max).the economy feature in Jupiter really makes u work soft with the throttle and end up getting a better fuel economy.On the other Hand Activa has a much better pickup.both ZX and Activa 4G do not offer disc break but breaking is good in both bikes (both have same breaking system where u press the rear breaks and it automatically starts pulling the front break lightly), u really do not need a disc break.the best thing about Jupier which I liked is the rear fuel lid-yes we don't need to get down from the bike like an uncle to fill the petrol- just drive in n drive out in style lol. however Activa offers digital meter, trip meters which r missing in Jupiter. it is all about preference- both are same on overall level.

Foru only really ntorq have great and excellent suspension you can test drive by visiting nearest showroom then decide if you dont trust your words happy riding
coming to the fact that we say honda Engines are very reliable and runs Smooth, refined and what not. actually they don't. 8 years down the road i have tested my 2010 Wego and my cousins Activa which were bought around similar Time so no difference in Age. Things i noticed after riding 8 years i opened up my Wego Engine in curiosity that what it looks like from inside and since i m taking it for very long highway trips, one engine look is enough to say how it had performed these many years. before opening up the engine there are certain thing i have noticed in both of the vehicles and comparing my vehicle with road going Activas(looking at them when they are being driven). the Rear brake Lever jiggles a lot with vibration if you keep your finger on them. that means the engine vibrations can be felt when Accelerating. i first noticed that in my Wego. then while doing road trips i came across similar stuff of Seeing the Vibes from Activas. which very much concludes that honda engine is similar to what other companies offer. they are Reliable in the sense that if you want to run them for 10 year with basic maintenance like oil change and cleaning up they will last for a long time. try seeing the condition of engine if you see some oil drips on the left side of the engine Cylinder Head where there is a Semi solid Rubber Cap (which was in my Wego) i replaced that as i have opened up the cylinder head (preventative maintenance). if i had let my engine run at that state then it could have gone for more than 10 years with no visible problems or any reliability issues as of now my Wego has no issues at all with proper care its running very good. in near future i will be doing modification to Wego by putting Disk brake Assembly and Jupiter Grande style Adjustable Rear Suspension. so for me this debuks that the Hype of Honda engine being Smooth, refined,reliable is pure nonsense.
Tv's Jupiter is the second highest selling automatic scooter second only to Honda Activa. It fits well in the mid range family segment and delivers on performance at an affordable price.
Activa's archaic front suspension is terrrible. Jupiter's price is terrible, almost 10,000 more expensive than Activa. That is, the petrol expense for about 6500 kms or about 1 year.
To all those buyers who are confused which scooter to buy- I was one among you until i bought a scooter last month. I also scratched my hair out and saw all reviews out there on all scooters, almost for 5 months. The main thing which you should remember is that there is no "best" scooter. You should find out which suits you best, like- your body frame, choice of design, colour etc. I too fell for the internet chatter and zeroed down on few top selling scooters (1. Jupiter, 2. Activa, 3. Wego.), until my sister chose wego. although my father always suggested Maestro edge, i read its negative reviews, and also, i neglected activa for its suspension. my choice was always jupiter, but sadly my sister chose wego. now, after riding wego for few days, i am realising that let alone me, its slim frame does not suit our family members (height/weight average 5.7"/60 kg+). it looks skinny and really a bad decision to buy this. now i realise that even jupiter would have been a bad choice, and looking at our build, Maestro edge would have been the best choice (although it may not be the best scooter out there, but still it has best resale value after activas). My insistence on 12" wheels and metal body, are all seeming to be wrong. Beware, future buyers!
Hello Dino, I don't see TVS Jupiter grande on TVS website. Says that's been discontinued since 31st March 2019. Could you update which one is the replacement model so that I can decide better?
I LOVE TVS JUPITER BECAUSE ( 1 ). 12 INCH TYRE WITH ALLOY WHEELS. ( 2 ). SUSPENSION. ( 3 ). LIGHTER THAN ACTIVA. IT GIVES SAFETY AND STABILITY. THIS IS GOOD FOR US AND FOR OUR FAMILY.
No telescopic folks front , no disc brake , bumpy back , seat comfort average and small tyres , looks like they will give all these in activa 10G 😂, I'll buy a jupiter if i want to buy one.
TVS is doing great job these days in the Indian Market... If TVS just improve their after-sales service... they have the potential to become leader in two wheeler segment..
I have Jupiter grande I am getting 55 kmpl I don't have any issues it's so smooth and handling is very quiet good than of honda which feels like auto ...
Anyday activa.i have clocked 72000kms on my 2011 activa.still a gem of a engine.ya I agree tht suspension is d issue.i have broken my silencer once😫.but Honda is Honda butter smooth engine.

The problem with TVS is their service, reliability. Im from surat we have abt 7-8 service st . But none of the mechanic solve my problem. Even the head mech. Who services the rr310

Im using ntorq it have excellent suspension in bad roads you cannot feel rough it was very smooth and excellent
I'm owning Ntorq & I can say that it has one of the best suspension and comfort... U will rarely feel fatigue in comparison to any other scooter

In your case, it is put on front aprin of jupiter, which is looking ugly.
Driving the Jupiter for more than a year and completed 10000 kms. Best thing is the suspension and paint quality. Still looks new.

Activa's archaic front suspension is terrrible. Jupiter's price is terrible, almost 10,000 more expensive than Activa. That is, the petrol expense for about 6500 kms or about 1 year.
To all those buyers who are confused which scooter to buy- I was one among you until i bought a scooter last month. I also scratched my hair out and saw all reviews out there on all scooters, almost for 5 months. The main thing which you should remember is that there is no "best" scooter. You should find out which suits you best, like- your body frame, choice of design, colour etc. I too fell for the internet chatter and zeroed down on few top selling scooters (1. Jupiter, 2. Activa, 3. Wego.), until my sister chose wego. although my father always suggested Maestro edge, i read its negative reviews, and also, i neglected activa for its suspension. my choice was always jupiter, but sadly my sister chose wego.
now, after riding wego for few days, i am realising that let alone me, its slim frame does not suit our family members (height/weight average 5.7"/60 kg+). it looks skinny and really a bad decision to buy this. now i realise that even jupiter would have been a bad choice, and looking at our build, Maestro edge would have been the best choice (although it may not be the best scooter out there, but still it has best resale value after activas). My insistence on 12" wheels and metal body, are all seeming to be wrong.

Hello Dino, I don't see TVS Jupiter grande on TVS website. Says that's been discontinued since 31st March 2019. Could you update which one is the replacement model so that I can decide better?

( 1 ). 12 INCH TYRE WITH ALLOY WHEELS.
( 2 ). SUSPENSION.
( 3 ). LIGHTER THAN ACTIVA.
IT GIVES SAFETY AND STABILITY. THIS IS GOOD FOR US AND FOR OUR FAMILY.

No telescopic folks front , no disc brake , bumpy back , seat comfort average and small tyres , looks like they will give all these in activa 10G 😂, I'll buy a jupiter if i want to buy one.

Anyday activa.i have clocked 72000kms on my 2011 activa.still a gem of a engine.ya I agree tht suspension is d issue.i have broken my silencer once😫.but Honda is Honda butter smooth engine.

But in today's traffic ( Bangalore) it's not easy to ride in bike, I initially wanted to buy a bike but felt more comfortable in scooter because it also gives similar mileage in this traffic condition

Activa ka dash board ka black part bahut bekar quality ka hai 1 saal Mai pura white Ho Gaya aur mere bhai ne mujhse 1 saal pehle Jupiter li thi jiska dash still new ,aur bhai ki Jupiter 58 kmpl deti hai high speed Mai ,aur meri Activa 40-45 kmpl😏 aur Activa ke parts bhi mehnge hai aur jaldi jaldi kharab hotey hai ,Wahi mera bhai to bass oil he change Karata hai, aur meri Activa 500-1000 ka maintenance har mahina,bas pick he jyada hai Activa ka baaki SAB bekar ,petrol tank par gadi se utarnapadta hai ,so unpractical aur pass switch bhi nahi hai + chotey tyre Gadde Mai engine takra jata hai looks bhi outdated 5g ka bhi ...so go for Jupiter ,TVS is a Indian brand & we have to support it for increasing our countries economy...#TVS
