Is no one going to talk about how the violin motif is similar to that of "Fairytale" ?
It's a beautiful artistic touch, because the lyrics of that song are about a love that was magical but painful. "Nowadays, I cannot find her, but when I do, we'll get a brand new start." But it seems like he never found her.
"Fairytale" is also, of course, Alexander's breakout song, so all of his memories of being able to perform for us, and our memories of the music he's given us, they all start with that song. So it's fitting that a song called "Memories" would call back to that.
Wonderful work, but I expected nothing less!
I thought this same thing too! It made me think the memories were going to be about Eurovision for a few seconds 😂 (Or he'd reference Fairytale in the lyrics.)

@@xlovingg i thought the same as you. to me, Memories is the angsty sequel of Fairytale, in which that young boy who fell in love with a fairytale grew up, but could never find her again. now all what's left for him are the memories of her. sounds kinda obvious but i honestly love the concept.

Вот голос Шаляпина, без микрофонов звучал так громко, далеко, и так выразительно и так с душой, пели певцы в прошлые века. А нынче все ни тот народ и ни так поёт. He doesn't need them... He has many gifts and talents... he has lovely parents... and so many people in the world who love him... Despite lots of inconveniences he is forced to deal with... he remains to be a beautiful human being and a great artist.

He's one of my most favourite singers. I don't know why but no matter how bad the mood is listening to his song really feels very relaxing and this one is literally another masterpiece that should be never forgotten. I don't know why I like Alexander's music. You see I grew up in a family of metal rock. So I searched up violin music. I found interest in his music. He still never aged since the Eurovision. His voice and moments are so perfect. I really like his music. And to be honest, I thank him for making this music.
