- "Wave" (also known as "Vou Te Contar" in Portuguese) is a bossa nova song written by Antônio Carlos Jobim. Recorded as an instrumental on his 1967 album of the same name, its English lyrics were written by Jobim himself.
The English lyrics were used on the November 11, 1969 recording by Frank Sinatra, on his 1970 album Sinatra & Company.

When learning jazz/latin jazz it´s a good exercise to play arrangement like this when one see the chords in a new way and also learn them in context to the melody. I really like to play this song with its nice melody and intelligent chord progression and its an obvious choice to have in my jazz guitar repertoire

Hi Thomas, your guitar arrangement in pdf of wave is not the same you are playing in this video, do you have another tablature that is exactly what you are playing?
Hi Paulo! I have listen to the arrangement and compared the pdf you have get and the only thing that´s different is that I play a G instead of a D in the bass in the intro. one time. I let that be when it´s not a wrong tone and in the pdf I still have the same pattern and one can decide oneself to play a G or a D on that particular place. I can change that tone if you want but the rest is as I play it in the video as I can hear.
