This is a really good - I mean really good - tutorial. Well worth watching. I've been using CorelDraw for a number of years, yet I learnt so much from this video. I watch the full 90mins. I may even (if I get the time) watch it again.

I want to be better, faster, & smarter today than I was yesterday. I have made an excellent living using CorelDraw on a daily basis in the sign industry. When will you do a 2023 version of this? This is the best tutorial I have ever watched Roger is the best. There are many differences from the 2021 version to the 2023 version.....Please do another Tutorial soon!
Most of the comments give praise for this tutorial. And I agree with many fans of Corel. But aside from the software, I want to give feedback to the presenter. My comments are focused on the equipment used to make this video. I don't want to come across as being unappreciative, but the ideas presented in this video are valuable; they should be presented with the least amount of distractions. My intent here is awareness: small improvements in AUDIO allow the message to resonate and be impactful. If I were a videographer (or content creator) representing an established company (such as COREL), or if I were a independent video blogger making tutorials in a PODCAST, then I would make sure that my voice had a pleasing sound to the audience. Moreover, I would emphasize the audio production to be tolerable to the audience (to ensure that they can watch the video for it's full duration). Since there is no prescribed format for video duration, there is a rule-of-thumb for determining how likely an audience might watch the entire video segment. Videos longer than 15 minutes, will present challenges in keeping an audience engaged. So knowing this, it's best to NOT use a cheap microphone -e.g., a headset mic found in the Gaming segments, or a built-in mic inside a computer. Instead, it's much better to use either a dynamic mic or condenser mic that can be mounted on a boom-arm about 12 inches from the vocal source; if the voice has noticeable sibilance (such as inhalations/exhilations, or drinking liquids, or licking lips), then a pop-screen can be employed to minimize sibilance characterized by voices (when speaking). So to conclude, although I'm eager to learn about the features in Corel Draw Suite 2021, it's difficult to relate to the subject (because the sibilant audio is bothersome to my ears). The voice sounds like the microphone is close to the mouth. At times, the inhalations of the voice interrupts my ability to focus on the content being explained.
You're so ungrateful for the effort someone took their time off to at least highlight for 90 minutes unlike Corel where it doesn't give us so much depth. Now all RUclipsrs have expensive gear. Just appreciate the effort. Nothing wrong with audio whatsoever!

The new export docker is a very handy feature, but it's a pity it only supports raster images, no vectors. It would make a perfect sense to also bulk export SVGs.
Here's what I want to know: When is Corel going fix the "Find and Replace" function? This used to be a simple keytop command, and it used to work. "Find and Replace" in CDR 2021 doesn't even recognize simple target colors. The problem is so widespread, that an entire cottage industry has formed on RUclips of CDR users trying to make "Find and Replace" work the way it used to. 2) What happened to Default values? In previous CDR versions, The User could define a font or an outline or a fill as the Default Value - and this Default Value would define every new object until the User chose to create a new Default. In CDR 2021 Default values are now completely temporary. Lasting only until the very first time you need to make an edit. And then that edit value becomes the new Default value. (Until, of course, the next edit after that. And so on.) This is especially problematic in CorelDraw, which has no standing "Vector Art" view (the way that most other Vector Art programs do.) In CorelDraw, if you clear your stroke color, and that invisible stroke serves as your next Default, you literally cannot see what you are drawing. 3) Why did CorelDraw change the outline function around simple shapes like Elipse and Rectangle ? So that your lines start out with uniform weight. But if you re-size the object, the lines deform in the direction of your re-size - Whether you like it or not. If this is a "Feature," and not a bug. Then there must be a way to turn it off. Yes? 4) How can I get a copy of Coreldraw 2017? Which, actually worked the way it said it would, and was stable. Is it too late to download a copy to own?
Hello Roger, great video! I noticed that by summer 2021 the links are not working properly. Let me explain, I was using the version I bought in 2016, and I used it to create ebooks, excellent for that, I can edit my ebook however you want, but I decided to buy the 2021 version, and I noticed that when I use the internet tool to insert more than 5 links on the same page and export as PDF these links don't work, or they’re in disarray. Could you ask the support team to check why the links are not working properly? Thank you
I am using the trial version of CorelDraw 2021 for experiment, when I click ctrl+left mouse button to move an object x,z with the mouse, the object moves upright ? So what happened? It was working fine in earlier versions.

This video describes the use of a feature called "Variable Fonts". I cannot seem to get this feature to work, the AA menu option in the text toolbar appears yet not activated. Tried at least 30 different fonts in the menu and none of them seems to activate this feature. The thought occurred to me this feature might be something that will only work with some special group of fonts you have to buy as an add on feature? Another thought is that this feature may only be available in the subscription version of Corel Draw Graphics Suite 2021, I have the one time purchase version? If none of my thoughts mentioned above is not the reason for this feature not working is there something in settings that needs to be selected to get this activated? Last but not least, is this simply a bug or problem with the software not working properly?

I got draw 21 and it is missing things u are showing in your video. for example I do not have color management in the tools bar. I do not have a palette library that I can find, only the cmyk palette. help is useless cuz it shows me things I do not even have. you have all those dockers in that drop down and I dont have half of them, why is that? my new page dialog box does not have the cmyk/rgb option or the resolution option. seems sorta important to me to have those. why is that? btw my X5 has all the features you list here that are NOT in x21. alas I do not have autofit. and all of this is in just the first 8 minutes of your video.
How is it, I have learned that Corel bombards you with their own advertising. In the paid version. If so, I'll stick with the older versions. And rental software is a no-go anyway. If Corel no longer offers purchase software, I'll switch anyway. Adobe is and will forever remain the only software for which I accept monthly payment. And then there's Corel's pricing policy. If I can get Adobe's Illustrator for the same monthly payment... The handling in Illustrator doesn't suit me as well as Corel. But the text in Illustrator looks professional. I'm slowly giving up hope that Corel will get its act together. Can you confirm this with the advertising in the new versions?
Is there anything that coreldraw will have those feature where you can ink freelly? Like those in adobe illustrator where you can use a brush with an adjustable setting depending on your pen tablet's pressure sensitivity. I am looking for this feature since year 2013.
Question. Can I create a file on the 2021 windows 64bit version, and save to the cloud....and then open on my ipad app and edit? I tried, and it gives me a warning and says I cannot edit normally. Any thoughts?

I've tried the clipart effect with blend tool on a letter and it's ok but when I close my corel draw 2022 and open the file with clipart it doesn't save the clipart effect. What's the problem? Can anyone help me how to fix it.
What is the contribution of this application compared to Affinity Designer knowing that its value is 14 times more expensive? I find it hard to see the difference and this aspect too similar to applications like Microsoft Word or WordPad is visually cumbersome.

It will only work with Variable fonts. Use CorelDRAW font filtering system to only show variable fonts and then take a look.

I don't like image adjustment lab like this. In X7 it's very easy to use so not take more time to open Corelphoto Paint.
