Ikea kitchen cabinets will lasts longer if we know how to assembled it correctly and passionately. Just follow 100% the manual. No corner cut. If we hire the assembler/contractors, they just want to get the job done. Please expect the get bended screws, chipped edges, scratches, misaligned, disoriented etc
Your kitchen sink is quite deep. So the water outflow may not be so strong, because the level of the bottom of the sink is almost same as the outflow outlet. So over time, stuff may get stuck at the pipes. So make sure you don't let a lot of "waste" go down the kitchen sink
From zero to kitchen... love the ending sayang sayang part, hahaha, remember to clean the filter every week or 2 weeks once, or else gonna get stuck. Love tat deep sink
luckily the cabinet handles were installed vertically by the installer...if installed horizontally like you want, they will look ugly and is the wrong way to install (harder to open)
Oof I saw potential problem with drain hose. Probably because the sink too big and deep. The hose is too long and angle too shallow gonna sag after awhile.
was wondering how your kitchen cabinet fares after 1 year? i'm a bit worried about the frames getting bloated over time because of Malaysia's humid climate. do you see any happening?
Just stumbled upon your video. Been thinking of getting ikea kitchen for the longest time. Is it worth in the long run? Do you have anything u wished u did differently? 🤣 help a sister out thank you!
@@bengtures ya lor. Very sad but true 😔. Once u bought a house, u just dont know where u saving gone to 🤣. Always over budget. No worries, pelan2 kayuh. 🦾
@@bengtures oh. The Myanmar guys are good installers. I’m OCD type so they did a very good job for me. I love my oak table top too after 5 years with darker color. Looks good
What’s the point of being so budget. It’s very cheap looking and impractical kitchen, esp that sink and lack of stove and rangehood. They’ll struggle to sell this apartment in the future.
@@luppycheong4149 The point of being so budget is money constraints. Not everyone has the luxury of cash. Cheap looking and impractical... THANK GOD not your kitchen.
@@luppycheong4149 this is modular concept kitchen..you can easily remove it later and change to another design..by the time want to sell maybe your existing design already outdated and need replacement anyway😁
I once ask quotation from Reno guy, kitchen easily hit 10 k and above.. trust me ikea furniture consider good price, design can mix and match easily..

Agreed! Pengalaman guna ikea kitchen cabinet dah masuk 7 tahun tapi still like new. Cuma silikon clear je touch up mana perlu kat line2 sambungan.
@@fieyzacreativemasak basah2 ada kembang ke worktop laminated wood tu?
Soft close drawer is a must nowadays.. hehe

Thanks for the tip! yeah, trying to ensure not much gunk go down as well. We have those filter sieve at the hole.
Your kitchen looks so neat and nicely done. I love that huge sink and the light grey colour cabinet. Haha! 🤩
One or two wide stainless steel shelves over the sink to dry and store dishes and plates and you are good! I think they would be fine over the window.
Yes! That's what's happening right now haha
Where are you going to place the cleaned dishes after washing?
IKEA product is good but most of the time I feel it limits my idea of designing.
Be careful with Ikea tabletops and the hinges. Very easy to rust or spoil..
Not so sure about the socket being so near the sink

Clean it errday. Thanks for sharing the joy man 🥰
Bengtures you're welcome.

Nice kitchen! Did you use "Metod" or "Knoxhult"? Thank you.
10:16 after 3 years, laminated worktop tu ada kembang tak kena air basah?
Table top won’t fade. It will be darker and darker.
Oof I saw potential problem with drain hose. Probably because the sink too big and deep. The hose is too long and angle too shallow gonna sag after awhile.
Thank you! Will keep in mind. So far okay... Fingers crossed. >
is it not too hazardous to have a power outlet near the sink ?
i think the water will definitely splashed into the power outlet...
It is, we purchased those covers for the outlets through shoppee.
Why is it there the first place?
Hi there:")
May I ask how's your kitchen so far? I'm contemplating about having Ikea Kitchen at home...
Beng, dun use that pipe hose type. It will sag when you pour hot water and change it to the hard type (Solid PP Pipping)
Thank you for the advice! 😊
Why locate electrical socket so close to the sink?
Beng i notice and like ur TV very slim frame design. I like it. Is it Samsung?
It's sony =}
Congratulations on the kitchen of your apartment! Step by step is Ok.
Thank youuuu
It turns yellow within a year due to humidity
actually is expensive if is 5k...
Very nice kitchen. It’s fun isn’t it?
Woah put a protector on the electric socket near the sink!
Scary, Kan?
what's sink brand?

Nope. Perfectly fine =}
5k? just get a custom made hard wood one for that price
Where's the cooker and cooker good would be located?
We keep our induction cooker below the cabinet. Honestly, we never thought about the hood because of the way we cook.
@@bengtures You will need it (the cooker hood), otherwise the whole area would be oily.
I think ikea have 365 return policy.
Did it splash when you do dishes since there is not really any countertop space?
Yeah, definitely does but not as much because my sink is quite big =}
@@bengtures nice! thanks for sharing

Why need to test the sink with water for so long?
probably to ensure there are no leaks..l...with water its always better to be safe than sorry
Yeah, we have to wait for silicon to dry - takes about 48 hours.
Rugi space with the sinki. I would prefer to make island/counter bar.
I would love to as well. Tapi budget tak benarkan.

Boleh la
Goddamn beng..congrats
IKEA messed me up once tho..not gonna lie
Thanks man! Oh what happened? Story time!
How about dish rack ?
I presume all the dish plate need to fly across upon washing from the sink..😅
