The excuse about the 2024 Indian GP being removed from the calendar due to weather turned out to be bullshit. The government of the state in which the event is held couldn't secure financing to host the event this year or the next.

The good, the bad and the ugly in for the 2025 MotoGP calendar:
The Good:
- The 2025 MotoGP season will start in Thailand of all countries.
- Brno is back in the MotoGP calendar!
- After a long absence in MotoGP, the Hungarian GP will set to make its return in 2025.
- Fan favourite circuits like Mugello, Assen, Aragon, Portimão, Motegi, Qatar, Sepang and Phillip Island are staying in the MotoGP calendar.
- Portimão had moved to the end of the season.
- While once again losing the status of the penultimate round of the MotoGP season, Sepang is still the final round for the non-European races in the MotoGP season.
The Bad:
- Unfortunately, the Indian GP had been demoted to a reserve GP and probably would not rejoin the MotoGP calendar in 2026 by the earliest.
- The Kazakhstan GP is no longer included and like KymiRing, Sokol had earned the dubious honour of being one of the MotoGP circuits that was never raced in despite getting planned.
- Due to some changes in the MotoGP calendar, the Thai, Qatar, British and Aragon Grands Prix looked very out of place compared to these GPs' usual spots in the calendar.
The Ugly:
- As usual, Valencia is STILL in the MotoGP calendar and it is STILL the venue for the final round of the MotoGP season.
