Which roll did you use to record 4:15? I'm guessing night is 500T, overcast 250D, day 50D. Film is just beautiful. How it handles light, makes it very smooth.
For the night time (near dark) shots I just opened my aperture all the way (f1.9) and had 500T in. I also raised the levels in post if it was super super dark.
@@kenkamara The 500t film is 500 iso film, so thats the iso I have to work with. The only settings this camera has are aperture and shutter speed. The shutter speed was 1/60
Thank you! Yes I used a light meter app on my phone and always overexposed 1 or 2 stops. I got it scanned flat and brought out the colors through postproduction color grading
Incredible footage, but your use of sound really ties it together. Brilliant stuff.
Absolutely beautiful man!!!
Thank you!
Absolutely gorgeous. Did you use a LUT?
Great work man! Love it
Thanks, much appreciated!
awesome
Magic

I believe that was 50D. Thanks!
Awesome! No need to say anything else
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Lovely vignettes. Just a question. The shots in the dark or near dark environments; what's were you settings ?

@@jacobpiller sweet. What did you rate the film at. The 500 t I mean?

Some of the best k3 footage I’ve seen. Where did you develop/scan?
Thanks! Developed at Kodak Atlanta Lab, scanned by The Negative Space
How did u cut the edge of the frame ? What aspect ratio was that at 3.05? Look squary i like it
This quality is amazing. Did you use a light meter? Overexpose? Color grade?

@@jacobpiller Which light meter app did you use?
Outstanding footage. I don't care how much you post-process 4/6k video, it never looks as "real" as good old 16mm film.
So gorgeous. I can’t wait to capture the world in 16. I notice some shots you have a light leak on camera right. Do you know what causes that?
Thank you! Most of it was from the roll ending or starting. Usually the first and last 20 seconds have some light leaks.
so did you record it while you were there with a mic?
How did you pack the film for travel? Did you use any Film Shield Lead Laminated Bag Airport X-Ray Security?
I made them hand check every roll. However once in Europe I didn't fly so the only time for airport security was on the way there and back.
Very nice! Which lens and film you used for it?
Thanks! Lens: Meteor-5-1zoom lens, f/1.9 17-69 mm. For film stock I used 50D, 250D, 500T
