Always like to see women and girls getting to hunt. I bought rifles for my grand daughters, and we deer hunt together. Awesome.

If there were no hunters in these areas there would be NO game its simple economics, IF IT PAYS IT STAYS that is the reality of Africa today

Yes, for sure, we keep part of the meat but most of the meat is given to our trackers and their family or to the nearest village. As you know french like to cook, filet, shalik, gulash, ... many way to cook all the game from guinea fowl to lord derby eland and buffalo.

In Tanzania who is a great country with still plenty animals and many turists going to see Lion, elpehants et many many animals, please note tha a third of the all country is under management through hunting blocks. Those hunting blocks have strict quotas and by the way, thousand of thousands hectares are under conservation. You can check it !

When Tigers was hunted, there was thousand of tigers in India. Problem is not hunting, the main problem is poison given by villagers and agriculture or poching for chinese pharmacopea. But if Tiger was still possible to legally hunt in India, there will be more territories for tigers (the hunting blocks) and people ready to fight against poachers (Professionnal Hunters and their anti-poaching team) and to solve problems with willagers when a tiger give problem.

On the top to oversee the wild areas, hunting blocks are giving works to people (against to come back to big cities) and add territories to wildlife conservation. Most of the hunting blocks in Tanzania and Austral Africa are around National Park to help conservation and oversee. Say thanks to hunters they save White Rhino, and are working to save the black Rhino. On the top the last lion in the wild in Africa are in NP, and ... in hunting blocks. In other parts, pastors are giving them poison !

@goatsawar02 Yes I choose this dog race, first because females (males are more tuff to educate) of this race are very smarts and help me for blood research but also Jack Russel are easy to transport in air flights. Normally it is possible to get in hand luggage any dogs in cabin with weight less than 5 kilos. My two jack russel are near 6 but I declare 5 and in a special bag, most air company accept it. The only problem is only 1 animal is allowed in cabin, so necessary to declare it in advance.

Totally agree. Hunters help the economy of the area and preserve the animals. If you have hunters that pay, the animals will stay. Otherwise they will be poached into extinction. FACT!

Hunters ! We are hunters prefer, like you, animals in the wild. And frankly since the Tiger is close to hunting everywhere in ASIA, there is less and less. Why ? because now with human pressure locals give them poison or poach them for bones and chinese pharmacopea. When Tiger was hunted, he was under conservation with big wild places under protection. Never forget that hunting is the best for conservation. I

Tigers in India have been hunted to near extinction because of the stupid wealthy class of mahiraji who bragged about killing his 1000th tiger. Hunting is different today. Not the same. Today tigers struggle for existence because of the farming encroachment into there territory. They just don't have the land left in India. This is different than managed hunting on preserves.
