We really need a new generation of motors and power supplies that are like the old buggy motors, it’s such a pain to get a Lego vehicle to be reasonably mobile while also being able to climb, it’s one or the other at the moment.
You only showed it going downhill basically, in the end you conclude it cant climb. Is that nothing at all? Seeing the limits and where it fails would be awesome. Maybe a 2nd video of less glorious shots would be fun too?
For what it's worth, it seems to be quite good at going downhill over rough terrain; it stays mostly on its wheels when the angle isn't too steep. I think you weren't hard enough on it though, there's almost no shots of it going straight or uphill.
Very entertaining, it is always good to see someone who uses their Lego for fun, rather than building it and leaving it on a shelf to gather dust... Like I do! 😁
When Sariel uploands my day just get better! This video must take a lot of time to edit. I want to ask, what video equpmet do you use to get this shots?
I have another question: for the tracking shots, did you control the car and hold the camera at the same time? Or did you get a second cameraperson (or car driver)?
that was an awesome video! well done!!!! it is an ugly car but it performs very well please make more trial truck footage in the future, i really like those videos!
I wonder if there is any way to install a first person view camera. I would love to have the view on a small screen (phone) and steering with a game controller.
There is. You need to get a lego cable from somewhere (easier with pf cause you can cut up an extension cable) and you solder an fpv transmitter and camera to it so the lego hub powers it. Sadly you cant use an aio fpv cam cause those are usually only rated for 5v, but a separate vtx and camera (like from an fpv drone) can handle it. Its better with a proper rc car tho. Not much of a point in having it be lego.
Or you could use a BEC to step down the LEGO voltage, which would probably still be less complexity than separate components. But yeah, at that point, just get a hobby grade vehicle
hi!, if you can get one of them insta360 cams into the cockpit, that would be an epic shot rather than having to take off the cockpit roof to make room for the camera
the gearbox and everything else is visable and open right? if so i would not recomment driving around in a forest, might damage something because a stone gets stuck in your gearbox. still looks cool doh
^ this, and also the (exposed) differentials are the new heavy-duty kind, where the delicate inner gears are safely enclosed, and the outer gears seem very sturdy and like their teeth could handle a lot of abuse.
Hey 🤙🏼 i think this Set is just the Skeleton. You have to put your own ideas and eg. buwizz to make it a realy Fun Car. You got the Base, now MOC IT Up 💪🏼🍀🏴☠️ Thats what i will do 😉 Thanks for Sharing!

I agree, would be nice to get motors and batteries closer to an actual RC car. Although that would probably mean upgraded gears and axles.

Let him cook
Your resume at the end is very useful ! Thank you !
Very cool just wish it had performance like a slash or a hobby grade rc
The slow-mo shots are so epic
Can you make upgraded version? kepping what works and upgradeing what doesnt, still cool moc!

It can't go uphill at all.
It gives me belly laughs to see the seriousness of the music and the color filter they put onto the video just to pan down to the little audi

Thanks! Equipment used: DJI Mini drone, GoPro 7 Black, GoPro 5 Session, Lumix GH-5.

I did everything myself, so I was holding a GoPro on a selfie stick while driving the car.
@@searme dang that takes some serious skills, how many arms have you got? XD
I need to try doing this with one of my tanks I made to be tougher offroad, looks fun!

Nice. Just a shot of compressor before parking at home.

I didn't take the roof off, I have a 360 camera and I can tell you that such a footage would be extremely shaky.
@@searme my bad then. Apologies.
YESSS THANK YOUUU!!❤
Btw what is the battery voltage you use for the audi?
11V
@@searmeand what is the brand of the batteries? I want to buy them but i dont know if they are available in indonesia
Ansmann Ni-Zn batteries.
@@searmethank you 🙏
I didn't ride a hamster! I condemn!•-•
I just bought it
Great. Now put some buggy motors on it

Their is no gearbox.💀
