Love Orphan Black...Tatiana is the most incredible actress that I have ever seen portray a character. She is better than Meryl Streep, and that's saying something. In the Washington Post I just read a review for the remake of Perry Mason that referred to Tatiana. Prior to this morning, I never heard of Orphan Black or Tatiana Maslany. So I looked her up. Wow. She's amazing even in print. Now I'm in RUclips stuck in a playlist of Tatiana videos. She's such a pure, radiant person. I can't think of a better role model for anyone of any age. I am old enough to be her mother, and I can only imagine how proud her mother is to have an angel for a daughter.

I don't know if you're into audiobooks/podcasts, but there is a FREE audio continuation narrated by Tatiana called Orphan Black: The Next Chapter, which continues the story of the show and is currently in its 2nd season. Season 2 even brought back some of her co-stars (Jordan Gavaris as Felix, Evelyne Brochu as Delphine and Kristian Bruun as Donnie). It's really good. I highly recommend it! There is also a sequel tv series in the works at AMC and produced by the same production companies as the original show, which is currently being written. We don't know the plot yet, or wether Tatiana will return.

I just can’t with how perfect she is. I only just watched the show this year. And went through it in a week. The thing that I loved SO MUCH about her was that it wasn’t like watching someone play different characters it was like being immersed in a totally different world. To learn that she’s an Ally Just makes me love and respect her even more as if it were possible. 💜🤗💜

I wish more people would think like her, sadly there will always be people who won't accept your sexuality, but it is getting better and I hope one day everybody will be viewed as a person and not be judged or hated for who you love, and the question "are you gay/bi/trans etc" will not even be asked. I don't actually understand why we label people as gay or that "gay" marriage is called gay. Gay people don't get gay married, they get married, they don't have a gay bath or eat a gay sandwich. I don't class anyone as gay or lesbian or bisexual. I've always been attracted to men and women but I'm a "bisexual" person. I'm just a person. If whoever you make love with is consensual and legal, you shouldn't be justified or labeled. Homophobes are just not confident enough in who they are having sex with which is why they get intitimated when you are confident enough to have sex with someone you are attracted to. I hope that I get to see the day that homophobia is abolished.

I came out just after I started watching this show. I remember I had an exam, and I wasn't really allowing myself to watch it, to watch anything when I should be working, but I just got stuck with this show and watched seasons in one night. It changed so much about how I think of myself. I saw Cosima and I really loved her, her style, her hair, her glasses, I just loved how her sexuality weren't even talked about, I loved how it wasn't even a topic. I saw a family, a town of people together, and none payed any attention to their sexualities because it wasn't important. Felix was gay and that was it, Cosima and Delphine fell in love and there wasn't one person who thought that was strange. I saw a show were there were so many different sexualities, yet there were only one community. There were no line. There were gays, lesbians, bisexuals, trans clones, and no one thought twice about it. Seeing how I've always rejected that side of me, feared it, struggled so much with coming out and what the reactions might be, I couldn't believe it when I saw this show and there were no reactions. Not one negative word. Very shortly after watching this I came out, not only to my whole family, but I think at this point I'm out to everybody. I am not hiding anything anymore, after years of crying myself to sleep. I don't think it was this show alone that caused it, but I definitely think it had a huge say in whether I was going to come out or not. I think seeing how positive, or seeing how no one even mentioned it, on the show really helped me realize that the whole world doesn't hate me, I don't have to hate me, and if I tell and someone does hate me, it's not my fault. I only did what made me happy. I saw Delphine and Cosima fall in love, and be together. Everytime I've fallen in love, I haven't been able to be with anyone. And when seeing them, it made me think about what was important, and I just wanted to be able to have that, what they had. And now I'm out.. And I think this show really helped that happen.. I don't know what to say, but I cried when watching this video, I cried when I saw the show and not one tear were shed of sadness or fear. Not one.
I love her as a whole. Not just as an actress but as a person. She always got my back. From the Golden Globes and Emmys snub to every project that she's into. I'll support her all the way.
I truly believe that being with someone has nothing to do with sexuality. It's about love. You don't choose who you love. I know many people, including myself, that swore they were straight but then fell in love with someone of the same sex. You love the person, the soul, not what he/she has - or has not - between their pants. I don't know what people'd call me; bi, pansexual, whatever, I don't believe in labels. I'm just HUMAN!

She had me as Ghost in Ginger Snaps ll: Unleashed. Which if you are an Orphan Black fan you will notice that the soccer mom lives in the town where the first Ginger Snaps took place. The show is also written by the Ginger Snaps creator and edited by the director of the sequel. Fun to pick up on that and to see this wonderful actress in such a great role!
It's hard to come out because we put human sexuality in boxes. If you're not ALIGNED to this specific box, you should try to be because you will be a PERSONA NON GRATA to the LGBT community. We all treat labels like it's some hair product or a signature bag. If we all just focus on falling in love with people rather than DEFINING what it is, then there'd be less crying and less emotional trauma. Example, lesbians coming out after being married to a man for 30 years and after being impregnated and birthing a couple of children. It becomes so difficult for everybody because lesbians don't have sex with men but suddenly, here is a 50 year old woman saying she has a girlfriend and she has always been a lesbian. It complicates the idea because she added the label "lesbian" but if she simply came out with a girlfriend and asked for her family to understand, then the situation becomes more simple. In places like Europe, Canada and even some parts of Southeast Asia, the labels are not much of a big deal. This is not to say that there is no stigma (especially in Asia) but THE LABELS ARE NOT THE MAIN PURPOSE of the relationship. It's only in places like America where they OVER ANALYZE the sex. I'm not entirely saying this is a bad thing but sometimes, why can't two women, two men, two transgenders, two somebody just fall in love without being SCRUTINIZED about the definition? you were married to a man, now you're living with a girlfriend, okay! period. Can't the conversation end there? I don't know if there would be a time where there is no more closets but i sure hope, It'll come soon.
Tatiana is incredible. Shes an amazing actress AND person. Not something we see a lot these days. So glad she is supporting the LGBT community and in such an in depth way!
I love Tatiana Maslany, first of all she is a wonderful actress, I keep forgetting that all the clones are played by the same person, but maybe even more important to me is her integrity and kindness in real life. She is honestly kind and open to the world and she can stay humble even though she's famous now. I really admire her.
There were times, especially that first season, when I refused to believe that Maslany was playing all of the clones. My mind knew it to be true, but that was totally inconsistent with the information my eyes and ears were transmitting. In addition to being a very entertaining, well-written show, Orphan Black was an acting master class every week.
We must protect this woman at all costs.

I truly believe that being with someone has nothing to do with sexuality. It's about love. You don't choose who you love. I know many people, including myself, that swore they were straight but then fell in love with someone of the same sex. You love the person, the soul, not what he/she has - or has not - between their pants. I don't know what people'd call me; bi, pansexual, whatever, I don't believe in labels. I'm just HUMAN!

We need more lgbt allies like her. And not just in western countries. Wish some people are not homophobic or biphobic.
I love tatiany so much..what an actress I can't find another series as great orphan black..my first 5 season series with no skip scene..she makes me Wow in every character

The great sensitivity of Tatiana is admirable
She had me as Ghost in Ginger Snaps ll: Unleashed. Which if you are an Orphan Black fan you will notice that the soccer mom lives in the town where the first Ginger Snaps took place. The show is also written by the Ginger Snaps creator and edited by the director of the sequel. Fun to pick up on that and to see this wonderful actress in such a great role!

Yeah. She is such a talent. I adore her.
It's hard to come out because we put human sexuality in boxes. If you're not ALIGNED to this specific box, you should try to be because you will be a PERSONA NON GRATA to the LGBT community. We all treat labels like it's some hair product or a signature bag. If we all just focus on falling in love with people rather than DEFINING what it is, then there'd be less crying and less emotional trauma.
Example, lesbians coming out after being married to a man for 30 years and after being impregnated and birthing a couple of children. It becomes so difficult for everybody because lesbians don't have sex with men but suddenly, here is a 50 year old woman saying she has a girlfriend and she has always been a lesbian. It complicates the idea because she added the label "lesbian" but if she simply came out with a girlfriend and asked for her family to understand, then the situation becomes more simple. In places like Europe, Canada and even some parts of Southeast Asia, the labels are not much of a big deal. This is not to say that there is no stigma (especially in Asia) but THE LABELS ARE NOT THE MAIN PURPOSE of the relationship. It's only in places like America where they OVER ANALYZE the sex.
I'm not entirely saying this is a bad thing but sometimes, why can't two women, two men, two transgenders, two somebody just fall in love without being SCRUTINIZED about the definition? you were married to a man, now you're living with a girlfriend, okay! period.

I love Tatiana Maslany, first of all she is a wonderful actress, I keep forgetting that all the clones are played by the same person, but maybe even more important to me is her integrity and kindness in real life. She is honestly kind and open to the world and she can stay humble even though she's famous now. I really admire her.

There were times, especially that first season, when I refused to believe that Maslany was playing all of the clones. My mind knew it to be true, but that was totally inconsistent with the information my eyes and ears were transmitting. In addition to being a very entertaining, well-written show, Orphan Black was an acting master class every week.
Sweet jesus, she seems so honest and cute as hell. Orphan black FTW.
