You were planning on a dropper compatible one? Any idea of the time frame? Really want one for my full sus enduro ebike. Because of how the motors work you need to keep a high cadence 80-90rpm for max power so you tend to seated pedal with much more speed through rocks and roots. Was already looking for solutions when I had a normal enduro but now definitely want one with an ebike.

Thanks for the comment! We are still working on a Dropper + Suspension Seatpost but we don't quite have an ETA as we are still finalizing the design. Feel free to follow up with our Support@redshiftsports.com email closer to the Fall and we may have an update!

Hello Redshift, I recently purchased this along with a good seat for my first E-Bike when it arrives in the next week or two. I'm somewhat confused at your website after receiving your ShockStop seatpost then returning to your site to check on a few things. Now I see two other seatposts I don't remember seeing when I made my purchase. A dual seatpost & a pro seatpost. Are these new? I thought I had purchased your only seatpost, thinking I was getting the best of what you offer. I now see you call your pro model one that doesn't even use springs anymore... Now I feel like I made a mistake.

Hi Smokey Treats! Thanks for the comment and sorry for any confusion. We can definitely help and if you do need to do an exchange or return we can definitely accommodate - this is exactly why we have our 90 day trial period. The dual-position seatpost is not a suspension seatpost and is used exclusively with aerobars for someone setting up a road racing bike for triathlon. the PRO ShockStop seatpost is a suspension post but it is shorter travel and mainly geared towards gravel racing and road bikes. So, without knowing anything more specific than you having an E-bike, the standard ShockStop Suspension Seatpost is definitely what we would have recommended for you - it has the most travel and is the most reactive which can be good on a stiff and heavy e-bike. So unless you absolutely wanted something very subtle with less travel that you would never feel working you have the right version. Of course, if you would like to discuss this more and talk more specifically about your bike and how you ride please email us at support@redshiftsports.com and we would be glad to dive right in. Thanks!

Hello, are you working to produce a 31.6 size seatpost? To avoid the use of shims.

Hi Keke - yes, we have a 31.6, 30.9, and 30.4mm seatpost in the works. They won't be available for a little bit but the plan is middle of 2023. If you are worried about using shims I would not be concerned - we provide high tolerance shims that are pretty long (100mm or so) and that level of overlap and the tight tolerance on the thickness mean that everything clamps as if the post were a native size. Happy to provide more info if you have any questions - you can always email us at support@redshiftsports.com - Thanks

@@Redshiftsports Thanks a lot. I am thinking in use your seatpost in a hardtail alloy mountain bike.
