Assessment: Anything, Anywhere, Anytime

Goal: Participants will learn about a new and easy to use tool that can be integrated seamlessly into existing teaching materials and LMS to monitor, track and assess student progress in real time.
Abstract: One of the challenges of online education is the lack of real-time feedback from students. Being able to evaluate whether the lesson goals are being met is critical to the learning process. JotForm is a web-based form builder that can be used to track and evaluate student progress throughout an entire class rather just at the end of it. Forms can be easily embedded into existing learning materials and learning management systems. In this presentation, I will demonstrate some of JotForm features suitable for online education and assessment. I will also share with the audience how the UMKC School of Law is using JotForm to assess, engage, and communicate with students.
