  • In episode 83 of The Carina Journey I remove the #windshield / #windscreen washer bottle and give it a clean. Then re-install it back on the car, but a lot cleaner.

    Why did your windshield washer tank get so grungy inside? I’ve had vehicles for years, and they appear as clean inside as yours did after you cleaned it out.

      It was like that from when I bought the car 3 years ago. I suspect it's a combination of dirty water and mixing chemicals. The end result was fantastic though, which hopefully shows everyone what they achieve with little effort.

    You jammie sod! My [Carina II '91] washer bottle is hidden from sight below the archliner >> just the swans neck poking up for filling. My overflow tank looks very similar but is behind the passenger headlight/beside the battery.
    Detailing.... Above & Beyond, m8 ;

    It would have been much more helpful if you had detailed the process you used to clean the reservoirs, rather than just magically shown the results!
