Does noise cancellation only work if you activate it in the application installed on your computer?
Is this application only available for Windows?
If I use this headset on macOS, will noise cancellation not work?

It works automatically you don’t need to download the application.
It works on windows and MacOs though! My husband uses Mac and has this headset

Does it work with smartphones?

Yes, this Dell wired headset WH3024 does work with smartphones. It is equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack which is a standard feature in most smartphones. So, you should be able to connect it to any smartphone without any issues.

Terrible structural design for a product with this price and brand.
I expected it to last more than three months:
There is a design error where there is a weak point precisely at the junction where the microphone rotates. The designer created a fitting where it should have been a whole piece

Hopefully the product teams read this for the feedback! Thanks for sharing! I don’t mind this headset and so far have not had any audio issues.
I am however using the wireless headset
