    I have a few of the LED Ryobi lights and love them. The cheap one that comes in the kits are trash and need updated or phased out for the LED lights for sure. I can't wait to get my hands on that 3000 lumen lights. Would be awesome for night fishing for sure.

    Just bought the big one that folds. Would you use it on a tripod? The price is much better than the Dewalt and Milwaukee tripod lights, but seems like this Ryobi on a $30 husky tripod is a much better deal

    I have the Ridgid Tri-fold light & love it! Very similar design to the new Ryobi version! Of course I'll be buying the Ryobi version! Because I collect tools whether I need them or not. lol Great video as always David!

    Price/performance they are great. This latest 3 panel one though is the best they've made. Cheaper than the RIDGID version and more powerful.

    When you fold the bigger light down are you able to fold the side lights back more to make it 360 light?

      150 degree lights.

    • @jscalpati
      @jscalpati 3 года назад

      @@ManCaverTools I don’t think you are getting what I’m thinking. If you have the battery on the table and fold the light down to the table it looks like you can fold the side lights up to almost a triangle. If so you can almost get 360 coverage.

    • @sloanNYC
      @sloanNYC 3 года назад +1

      @@jscalpati Yup, if you use the battery as the base and then you basically can turn it into a 360 light. Or just fold the panels all the way back and do 2 facing back and big one front.

    debating between this one and the ego light. I already have ego batteries, however the ego much heavier I think and I dont know if I will be needing that much light. I kindda like the ryobi cause its lighter. My friend has the ego and its a pretty cool light and eventhough its larger is compact too

    they wont allow you to have them plugged in and the battery at the same time
    also they wont charge the battery either

    Trying to find a vs video or someone’s opinion on the ryobi tripod light vs the milwaukee rocket m18 light. I can’t decide which one to get. I have tools and batteries with both brands. Need help!!!

    • @ManCaverTools

    the old ryobi light with the adjustable color is still one of their best ones in terms of color. Milwaukee nailed their color spectrum on their LEDs. I absolutely can't stand the blue cold light, most jobsite LED lights give off. gives me a headache at work. 4000 kelvin is optimal.. What's the color temp on those new ryobi lights?

    • @ProxyFinal
      @ProxyFinal 3 года назад

      just based on the video, it is not the same warm color that Milwaukee gives out. This is still on the warm spectrum as you notice the slight yellow it gives out rather than the blue that you get from cool temperature. .

    Ryobi really need to incorporate USB charger into their lights, better newer one not the 5V/1A in old P781.
